In Spring we have multiple refs! Since it’s just a Fall game they go with one. Having more definitely helps haha

Great game. But tough seeing you guys lose to a wild pitch and the catcher not in a position to block it. Serious question…why are coaches ok with this? I see it at the HS level, catchers aren’t really held accountable for not blocking.

Coaches aren’t ok with it! He hold all our players to an elite level! However, all the boys are still young and learning, no one is perfect!

@@tnxlacademy understood. I was curious because I see it here in TX where catchers are no longer blocking and runners advance to scoring position or even score in critical moments. I feel like the art of blocking is a lost art.

Lately they’ve changed how they like catchers to position themselves, so they have a better chance at framing and stealing strikes. The only problem is the exact scenario that did happen
