I adore the name Keikō. It’s Japanese and I learnt it because I read a book called The Last Paper Crane, it’s about how a boy found his best friends little sister Keiko who he swore to protect but lost when he tried to find her a doctor, I won’t say much more because you might want to read it. It’s based after the atomic bombs in Japan at the end of WWII

She is the most beautiful horse I’ve ever seen and I love her coat very dark bay or brownie black And she’s not really shiny like all the other horses with a similar colour obviously because she was wild. and she’s got a really sweet look in her eye 🐴🐴😍🥰

I recommend the book Shy Boy by Monty Roberts ... Shy Boy answered the question about whether a trained Wild Horse would rather be Free. I really do think some prefer captured life over wild life .. Keiko seems to really enjoy not having to scavenge for food.
