You prolly dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can watch all of the latest movies and series on Instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother for the last few months xD

@Bruce Salvador Yea, I have been using Instaflixxer for months myself :)

Great video. Is there meant to be a little tiny hole in the bottom of the shaft once all seals have been removed? Looks like it may be an oil pass. Cheers
@MustangResto2 жыл бұрын
No, I don't think so. You may be seeing a stain on the shaft.

You did the easy part ,how did you take the old seals out ?

This is part 2. Watch part 1 to see how the seals are removed.

While you're at it order 2 parts kits for the control valve seats. The 2 medium sized ones can be used in the cylinder. Good job.

I can't find the seats. Where did you get them?
@desmondruff2 жыл бұрын
Good information. I’ve been trying to figure out how to do this for my 60’ Thunderbird. The pictures in the manual don’t help much being small and in black and white. You can’t really tell which way the seals are facing.

Thanks, I always try to make a note of how things were installed as I take them apart.

Where did the big rubber washers and steel small bushing go that you introduced in video one? I saw several parts not used in video two???

What kit did you use? I ordered the Eddleman kit and had to order a second one and both washers with the springs inside broke on both kits. Is there a specific brand you recommend?

I used CJ Pony Parts PSHS5, PSHP41, PSHR7

Should the seats for the tubing connections be replaced during the rebuild? They seem to be aluminum. If yes, where can I find a source?
@MustangResto4 жыл бұрын
I wanted to do it, but I couldn't find the seats anywhere.
