I might not agree with your patina stuff but your sheet metal work frame repair is second to none.

I've seen you do a lot of frame repairs, but this one came out exceptionally well, and it's never, ever boring to watch you make 'em better and keep 'em rolling. Thanks, Mustie!!

Careful with that pickhammer! You almost put my eye out with that backswing! Wouldn't have missed the chickens cowering in the corner! That dinosaur has turned out to be a star attraction! Thanks, Mustie!

For anyone wanting to preserve the frame and undercarriage of any vehicle, use Rust Check oil spray and shoot it inside rails, body panels etc. It will keep water from corroding the metal. Even just one application works but it's best to do it once a year. I have been using it for 20 years to keep my vehicles in safe, rust-free condition.

Great work Mustie. Love that magic welding machine, and custom fit of the pieces, bandsawing your way to success. I love bandsaws. And my favorite part, riding with you down the highway in a vintage hippie bus. I miss my '66 kombi.

That's a better fit than aftermarket replacement panels. Nicely done!

You Sir are my long lost shop brother . We refer to the band saw work of that nature " vertical band milling" . You beat me by having a stretcher shinker along with air over hydraulic press , not to mention your cool old lift . Keep the videos coming , I like hanging out in your garage .

Nice repair - heavy duty for sure, at 1/8”! FWIW I usually use 14 gauge for stuff like this because my tools won’t bend 1/8” very well either. 14 gauge hammer forms sorta ok, and it is still light years stronger than 18 gauge and welds easier than 18.
