Great review! I too thoroughly enjoyed this expansion as a whole. Mansion attack for me was simultaneously the most difficult and most fun. Like yourself, I kept pulling toad! Magneto was also challenging and fun. Maybe I just got lucky, as I managed to defeat him first time, however It was an extremely close game which is probably what made it stand out as one of the best final villains.

Solid all around. Its early but i think Magneto might be the best designed villain in the game. The allies you earn during the campaign help A LOT.

Are there any official rules or comments about modding out scenario allies? I wonder if the Sentinel villains and Taskmaster would be better if they were removed or replaced with weaker allies

I think your review is right on. I have enjoyed playing Mutant Genesis so far and I agree that this seems to be a natural break where new players can start with this and the core box. I was unsure about the next scenario pack, Mojo Mania, but after playing Genesis and seeing what they are doing with mechanics I am going to purchase it when it comes out. I am storing all of the new content in the Genesis box and keeping them segregated from all of my other hero's and sets.
