Hi, looks delicious, I must try it out. When pressurising the mutton, you mentioned 4 whistles. Does it have to be on low heat or high heat? Or could you specify the duration in minutes? Thanks

1.Heavy Bottom Pot. 2.Do not dice the potatoes. Should be medium sized & full. 3.Use Cheese cloth for the Khada Masalas while cooking the Mutton & put the potatoes along before giving the Pressure Cooker it's steam. 4.Add decent amount of Desi ghee at the bottom & a kadchi of hot water to build up some steam. 5.Layer Up. 6.Slide some Desi ghee on the sides. 7.Use yellow food colour.

Hey, One of our favourite recipe of yours is the Parsi mutton pulao. I've always wondered, why is it called pulao instead of biryani.. Was it a typo..? Because this biryani recipe of your saasu ma, is almost same besides the elaborate marination. Needless to say, shall give this recipe a shot as well, on Sunday. Keep up the good work.. Regards
@PrettyParsiCook2 жыл бұрын
Hi Balwinder, our Parsi pulao has less garam masalas and spices compared to the biryani - although the process is the similar- however if you make both there is a vast difference in smell and taste 😊 also Pulao is eaten with masala daar and kachumber traditionally by Parsis and biryani off-course with raita - do try out both recipes - they are great dishes to eat - I love them
