Does this mean that we'll finally get AI that can see the player when racing them, instead of just driving into them because they're on the racing line? The single biggest thing holding the game back is the AI, really. It significantly limits what kinds of missions can be set up for the player in career mode without having an AI system more dynamic than [traffic/chase/flee/follow/random/span], and I hope that we can get some kind of behind the scenes information confirming some work happening on that area of the game.

One thing to note with the Vulkan API is that it is Linux compatible, which means that with it's implementation into the game there could be a better possibility of a Linux version of BeamNG, for the 3 people on Linux who want to play it.

The Vulkan renderer is huge for things like the steamdeck. Since SteamOS doesn't natively support dx11 and currently runs dx11 calls through a translation layer (called dxvk) to translate them to vulkan calls.

My biggest issue is that while I can customize a cop car, and be recognized as a cop by other cop cars (so I don’t get chased myself), if I save that customization then re load that car, the AI no longer recognizes me as a cop car and I get chased.

In career mode, they improved delivery. Now there is hazardous materials, liquids and aggregate (the two lattest requiere specific containers in place of cargo boxes). I guess there are other thnings as well.
