So glad its going as well as can be expected Henk, looking forward to you getting back where you belong on the water cruising around. By the way there is a lovely cake and coffee shop in Medamblik, walk from the harbour along the high street and its on the left hand side, small corner shop, lovely ladies. It was one of my little escapes when we went in there, leave the kids onboard and go sit outside with a good strong Dutch coffee and a lovely bit of cake.

Hoi Henk,Dat was weer eens een gezellige show van jou en tja daar had ik niet aan gedacht al die diesel aan 1 kant in de tank dat is ook een hoop gewicht toen ging de diesel tank nog open ook moet ik wel zeggen die zag er goed uit daar van binnen heb dat ook wel eens anders gezien. En gezellig zo even samen een bakkie koffie doen voor mij zonder iets lekkers tja lastig diabetes Nou kan niet wachten maar tot de volgende show maar weer 👍👍👍👍

1,300 liter tanks. Almost impossible to remove for repair. After welding I found 3 2mm holes on several spots. So I cleaned them partially. Let's say the first 20cm, since that was the area where the water would stay (in the 10 years she was on the hard). I added epoxy primer, 2 layers of fiberglass, 2 layers of epoxy and finished with an anti chemicals epoxy paint. I have no video's of that cause you only would see me bend over with my head in a tank. In an orange suit. I know (from what friends told me...) there are other websites who provide better video's in bending over experiences.

@@sreterzot2081 that´s like having an argument with your Wife and change Her for a new one. Every boat has a story, you´re in a way bound with it, good and bad times. You fix it, and keep enjoying life with a boat that every day is a bigger part of your life, you don´t discard it because it has some problems :) Love your videos henk Jan!
