My view of MWIII: It’s incredibly flawed and should not be getting a 10/10 from anybody. The $70 price tag for basically adding MW2 09 maps, “new” guns, plus a movement overhaul should be seen as a slap in the face to COD players everywhere. I didn’t bother with the campaign myself but I also wish that was something they could put more time into again. BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID: MWIII is the most fun I’ve had in a COD multiplayer since maybe Black Ops 3. The game feels amazing and the roster of maps (though not new) in my opinion are quite good. This absolutely should have been the game we got last year and I hate that it took all this to get it, but I’m happy it’s here. I hate that Activision and Infinity Ward basically put Sledgehammer into a no-win position with the rushed development and the chore of fixing IW’s f*ck ups instead of giving us the game they actually envisioned but I think they deserve all the props for what they were able to give us and it really feels like a love letter to the community after what Activision/IW put us through last year. Sledgehammer took it upon themselves to do everything the community wanted and have already done more than IW did with the totality of last year’s game. Again lemme clarify though SLEDGEHAMMER deserves all the props for the good parts of this game. Activision and IW can both go to hell for what they’ve been putting their players through

@@tjstakes167 yeah I've been having tons of fun with the game and truth be told people absolutely had a mountain of issues with the old COD games too despite the tendency to treat those games as perfect creations by God himself (except BO2, that game was perfect and I will not be told otherwise). I think game devs would have a much better making better games if they didn't constantly have to sift through mountains of "$70 DLC SCAM" and "BRING BACK THE OLD GAMES" comments and if gamers just acted like normal people

It kinda sounds like with the short asf dev time and it initially being a dlc then having to be stretched out to a full game. Blizz-Activision panicked, which I'm assuming was probably because of the delays in their acquisition by Microsoft. Sounds like initially they were happy it being an expansion etc. but then when they found out they weren't getting their big Microsoft billions from the acquisition they wanted to make more money from their customers instead, so told Sledgehammer to make it a full game somewhere down the line and then just as it's came out the Acquisition got approved and would finally go ahead. This might mean the same mindset was going into next year's COD as well by the Blizz-Act heads whilst all this was going on for this one, but hopefully they'll have enough time to recover, guess we'll just need to see over the next few years how Microsoft manage the publishing of the CODs instead or if they'll be less brutal with the profiteering, because if there's one thing Blizz-Act have a reputation for its ruthless profiteering. IDK it'll be weird with the structural change, hopefully they'll figure out the kinks tho.

Here me out.... Conspiracy Theory Did you know Fortnite released a Domination game mode? One of the play lists on MP can be played for free with better gun play and graphics (for me). The CoD HQ is also very similar to Fortnite's UI but they were not able to make it as smooth as Fortnite. I bought MW2 and was thinking to give MW3 some time first before I get it but I don't think I'll buy it anymore because of Fortnite. If Fortnite continues to release MP game modes on CoD for free and everything is more balance then..... 🤣

Its definitely a solid 5. It's just modern warfare 2 but, with better balancing and better gameplay. It's just a DLC of MW2. I hope they do something with the zombies, because its fun for like 1 or 2 games lol. But, I do appreciate that they are staying with boots on the ground. The campaign is awful a travesty. This is why im giving it a 5. Because at least the multiplayer was good. If we compare the multiplayer to previous installments, its better than ghosts, vanguard, 2019, Mw2(new), cold war, infinite warfare, ww2, advance warfare. But, its mediocre at best. If you just play shooters you can rate this game a 6 or 7 out of 10. I honestly just bought it just to play with my friends who play nothing but shooters, I aint gonna lie lol.

Gotta disagree when you said call of duty blew up with the campaigns. It started with the campaigns but COD didn’t blow up till COD4’s multiplayer. Older CoDs had some good campaigns like OG MW2 and even Black Ops 2 but even then a huge majority were just playing Multiplayer and Zombies.
