@@AzraelIgnis I recommend to at least check the manufacturers website and pick the motherboard you purchased and CPU you are pairing and decide from the ram sticks they say are compatible. I say this because once I did not do this and the ram i purchased worked for like a month then started getting blue screens. Finally after wasting money on ram that wasn't 100% compatible (i got a months use before blue screen) i purchased the correct ram. I know you didn't ask for this but thought id share from my mistake. Take care.

How are you able to run 4 ram sticks and at what speed, I heard it diminishes speed at some point.
@GLITCHEDZAАй бұрын
They work quite well with the correct settings. Speeds and scores are at 9:39
@DrkRydrProductionsАй бұрын
It does, if you see in the Benchmark, they are only running 3600mhz vs their rated DDR5 speeds. You only want 2 sticks for dual channel memory with DDR5
@TempvoАй бұрын
it needs more USB Ports

I thought that AMD was not well suited with 4 ram banks active. Did you experience any problems with your 4 banks in the slots? I'm asking because I have the same setup. But was recommended to only put two memory banks in, due to some limitations on the AMD system
@ChosenMan37Ай бұрын
You can use 4 ram banks however If it doesnt work you may need to manually lower the ram speed like I did to make it stable. They still haven't fixed the issue with ddr5

@DrkRydrProductionsАй бұрын
I see a lot of comments on this below. AMD/Motherboard manufactures has this posted on their site, on AM5 platform using 4 sticks you basically getting DDR4 speeds of 3600 for max performance you want 2 sticks in dual channel. There will be no fix for this as it is a socket issue.

I’d like to know if you removed the black plastic CPU bracket to install your AIO? And if so, was it just to install the AIO because later in your video - I see the bracket back on. Is it necessary?
@GLITCHEDZAАй бұрын
I had to remove it to turn it around. Some coolers install with the hooks pointed inwards while others install with them outwards. It all depends on the brand. So you’ll see I remove them first, but simply rotate them 180 degrees and put them back.
@stephencampbell4034Ай бұрын
@@GLITCHEDZA Are you using stand off screws? Inside that black bracket? Which AIO are you using?
@GLITCHEDZAАй бұрын
@@stephencampbell4034 I am using the NZXT Masterliquid ML360 cooler here. No standoff screws are used. The cooler uses two metal brackets that attach together and the hook screws are screwed onto each side. These hooks are then attached to those black plastic brackets that I flipped around.

pcie slot 2 can be disabled if you populate some m2 slots
@flaccus1233 ай бұрын
Was comparing the m2 specs in the manual for the x670e hero against the x870e version and looks like the x670e has more usable M2's According to the Asus manual, on x670e - you can populate M2_1, M2_2 (lanes from CPU) and M2_3 and M2_4 (lanes from chipset) GPU still runs at 16X. Lane sharing only occurs if you populate the 2nd PCI-E slot with the M2 add in card, which drops the GPU to 8X. So you can run 4 M2's (2 from cpu and 2 from chipset) with 16X GPU. The USB 4.0 ports on the x670e must be taking lanes from the chipset so you have 20 lanes for GPU and M2 from the CPU. On x870e you have more M2 slots. You can populate M2_1, M2_2, and M2_3 (lanes taken from CPU) and M2_4 and M2_5 (lanes from chipset) However by populating M2_3 it drops GPU to 8x but also disables M2_2 completely!!. So looks like you can run 3 M2's (1 from cpu, 2 chipset) with 16X GPU. The USB 4.0 is taking lanes from the CPU so this limits you to only 20 lanes for GPU and M2 from the CPU.
@gunjitsingh27093 ай бұрын
Dont think this is true at all, how can populating one m2 disable another !! It kinda defeats the point of having multiple m2

@@DrkRydrProductions just that you are completely wrong lol with a little bit of trial and error you actually CAN fine tune the voltages to the point that even 4 sticks on AMD would be running stable at 6000Mhz. 7000Mhz and above however is actually much more reliant on silicon lottery for your CPU+Motherboard+Ram, but it IS achievable. there are a bunch of videos on youtube of people showing their Zen4 and Zen5 rigs rocking 192GB of ram running at speeds above 5600Mhz and at 7000Mhz just fine. it just takes some effort to achieve this with AMD's platform.

@@HoLDoN4Sec Zen 4 is not Zen 5 Maximum memory speeds with all 4 dimms populated is going to be far less than 6000 and is a memory controller/platform limitation for AM5.
