This was such a beautiful and moving entry. The clear desperation in the Forest Spirit, and the end of Sharazad's and Zahina's ark. And they did it! They actually did it, I can't believe it. The introduction of the diary now feels like such a great payoff. Oh, I found so adorable of the little detail of Zahina's friend giving her a new hijab to replace the one she offered Pips.

Ooh, I love how you did the recoloring on Jasmine's eyes for older!Zahina. It makes me so happy seeing Zahina and Shahrazad come to an understanding, and the use of letters throughout is such a clever way to tell the story. The fact that she writes to Marie is just.... *bawls*
