The only band I can think of that named a record after their 2 fuzz pedals. I was 16, Superfuzz Big Muff literally changed everything. L.A. had zero chance of being cooler than them.

They also revitalized the world of guitar pedals and specifically fuzz pedals. Electro-Harmonix had their huge comeback and re-issued the Big Muff and later dozens of their old pedals because of Mudhoney and Dinosaur Jr. It was hard to find those old pedals in the late 80’s, but by ‘90 they started to come back.

Enjoyable interview. A bit awkward. Mark Arm’s so sardonic and gritty and the interviewer’s just not on the same wavelength, trying to stay in formal interview mode. Glad I watched tho, overall I’m happy you put it out there. Just an interesting mismatch between interviewer and interviewee.
