On December 17, 2020, Milestone released a Day 2 Patch to the game fixing a lot of the problems discussed in this video. Bike seems like it's weighted too much, he's casing everything. Could partially be due to the track conditions, but this game doesn't look enjoyable either way.

I finally figured out how to clear jumps better. By pulling back on both sticks on the jump face and releasing them it adds more pre load allowing you to clear jumps better with both the 2 strokes and 250s

So just been on the Xbox Store and in the description it mentions something about being able to make tracks. Which is very wrong if its not in the game! I suspect a patch is coming but they need to be more transparent! ps Just read MXGP reply "Track Editor and First Person Camera are both coming with the next patch. Expect that in few days "

It’s actually the best one they have made. I’ve played every MXGP and when I bought this game yesterday I thought it was ass compared to MXGP pro. But after the update and playing it again today it’s actually really good and way more realistic

The game has improved a bit now. Inner and outer lines or corners exist. And controlling the power of your bike in the corners feels good as to much power will make you slide and lose control

I think I finally figured out the weird ass gravity in these games. It looks like if you have an unmodified bike, gravity is turned way up so you can't clear jumps making it appear as if you are slower. Then when your bike is upgraded, gravity is reduced allowing you to jump further. Pretty dumb way to go about things, but at the same time I kinda understand why, it makes it seem like the bike upgrades actually do something.

They gotta stop putting out 2 games a year. A Supercross and a MXGP. It's clearly too much for them. They need to take a step back and maybe only do the odd years, like Farm Sim has done in the past. They go 2015 2017 2019, for example. I think they need to move to that model so they can put more focus and not ship what seems like a half-assed product year after year.

I honestly couldn't believe the fact that there hasn't been any mention of anything anywhere of the features left out especially track editor. I was streaming when it came out on xbox here in Australia and it pretty much ruined my plan with the game stream wise. Why not announce "Hey we're really sorry but these features will be coming in the near feature please bare with us" but literally nothing. Are they just going to update the game and pretend nothing happened or are we going to get MXGP Pro'd and this stuff just not be added and let milestone just straight up lie to us AGAIN.

Well, at least it wasn’t like Mx VS ATV All Out where I preordered it for $50, then got it and it absolutely sucked, and it still does suck. Worst motocross game I’ve ever played. But this MXGP 2020 looks like crap. I wasn’t really expecting much though because they haven’t promoted it hardly any the past few weeks. But after MXGP 2019, I thought it’d be better than this, because 19 is actually kinda fun. MXGP 3 is still my favorite. But at least we have sx 4 coming in March. It looks like it’ll be pretty fun.

Until the give the rider move realistic movements and give the physics a much needed update i won’t buy a game. Reflex is what, 11 years old and still to this date had the best rider physics.

Even MXGP 2019 is better than this. Like A LOT better. That in itself pretty much says everything about this crap game. I also like how at 11:30 he says "am I gonna have to do another race I guess I probably should huh?" You can just hear the sadness and disappointment in his voice at 22:44 as well "I just wanna finish this race and be done with it". This game is an utter screwup. Edit: On their website ( mxgpvideogame.com ) it still says that the new track editor with a configurable heightmap is -- or will be -- availabe. It also says that Playground Co-op, Multiplayer Waypoint Races, and Race Director Mode will be features after Day 1. Assuming they don't lie about this stuff and suddenly take everything off the site, this is kind of good news. Let's just hope within a month or so all of this is added and the price won't change. Maybe by 20201 we'll have a semi-complete game instead of a half-complete game. Either way though, this launch is unacceptable. We better be getting more than just a couple extra features if Milestone wants to redeem this game, which sadly, they probably don't.

Why is this $50 bucks? I am glad to see 125's though I can see on wet or rain tracks it will be bad because i was watching on twitch a person with Advanced Simulation. Bike moving left and right a lot!, the front wheel sliding as the throttle held down. at 50 MPH it looks like your moving 25 MPH!

No, Milestone is Milestone. Rainbow Studios (MX vs ATV) is Rainbow Studios. The only recent change is that THQ Nordic who owns Rainbow Studios also purchased Milestone last year. But THQ Nordic owns tons of gaming companies so the likelihood of any crossover between the two companies is slim to none

I wish they would price this kind of as a one time purchase game with each generation bringing a free update of physics and whatnot and a then pay for the new season update as a whole. This would allow the base of game uses to grow, and the game to improve over time without a new purchase, the incentivising purchasing of the new tracks etc. At the moment, it is not a big enough difference in physics to warrant a full game purchase. BUT -- if it was improving over time, getting more fun, and developing the game develops good will as well as literally developing over time and responding to feedback and therefore developing a purchasing base. No way will I buy this as essentially a skin on a 5 year old game that had 10 year old physics when it was released....

Milestones heart is just not in these mx games. I cant believe we are still bitching about them not having deformation still. No first person is just nuts. The only good thing about this really is hopefully donut makes a funny review video.
