Great Vid. Will follow these settings for my standard Xplore then possibly think about the KTech kit. Nice 1

Thanks! Great explanation to start properly experimenting with those settings! Maybe you could do a similar video experimenting with tyre pressure adjustments? Or maybe vs. different compounds mousse. Love the channel!

Recently found your channel. Normally its either top riders stuff or beginners, with your comments it makes for us intermediate to gain stuff. Love your old vids on the mx track when I need a buzz, the new enduro ones are equally good and directly useful as thats what Im riding. Keep it up!

Very good informative video. Just installed ohlins front and rear on a te250 any advice on some clicker settings as a baseline
@ACEsuspension4 жыл бұрын
Nick Palmer start of around the middle of clickers and then have a play around with them.. for extreme enduro go softer and faster rebound, for mx style enduro go harder and slower with rebound 👍

Very good. Am debating k-tech orvs against wp 6500 for by-no-means-fast trail riding. You sounded very convincing that 6500 would be too stiff and that k-tech is the way to go. Have you changed your mind since? Cheers.
@derek31072 жыл бұрын
To get something as close as possible to what your testing, which kit would you recommend for '22 WP AER forks? I was thinking The K-Tech ORVS Fork Piston Kit XCountry/Enduro Specs and the ORSS2 Air2Spring system.
@SoilworkZA015 жыл бұрын
What air gap do you spec for the forks? The K-Tech manual is a bit hazy in that regard

hi Ryan, great review, this is exactly what I was looking for concerning enduro suspension setup for quite awhile. Too many reviews out there from other guys who don't have the knowledge or the skills to put the suspension to proper pace. Until now I've run the stock Xplor suspension on my 2017 300 EXC bike, and was pretty happy with it for technical riding. But for faster tracks and for fast rocky riverbeds Xplor is not helping too much. My buddies run Ohlins cartridges or the ultra expensive WP Cone Valves and sometimes I can barely keep up with them. From your feedback I reckon K-Tech ORVS is the way to go to give them a good run for their money :)
@ACEsuspension5 жыл бұрын
lisimahus thanks mate.. would definitely recommend the k-techs internals you can always take out and put onto a new bike if you wish to upgrade in the future 👍 Give is a ring or message us at ACE Suspension if you want more advise, thanks

@@ACEsuspension I will definitely message you guys in the coming days. I need the upgrade for competitive riding in expert class or even, if stars align lol, switching next year to pro in our hard enduro championship.

Thank you for the amazing video great job. There is a company near me in Colorado called Endurospec And they seem to like the K tech like you guys do. They also offer the mx tech lucky as an option for the fork and I am torn. Out back for the shock they recommend the mx tech TANK system. Wondering if you have tried the lucky cartridges and if they are worth the $500 more. What you rode in the video is my preferred terrain but we also get quite a bit of whooped out rocky sandy desert in between. So far thinking k tech front and mx texh rear (save the remaining money for an rk tek head). Great explanation on the compromise needed for varied terrain (not usually one setting thqt can do it all, so finding the beat overall compromise). Thanksgiving again for the very informative video and if I eas in yiur country I would definitely bring the bike to you guys!

Hi mate not suspension related but what bars do you run?
@ACEsuspension2 ай бұрын
@@samholmes2098 standard KTM MX bend. We run the racefx bars but if you like Renthal fatbars it’s the 821 bend. But it all depends on rider’s preference as we are short we like lower bars 👍 Cheers
