WOW , that's a time saver lmao. When i got to that point and wanted to make a big change i just zremeshed and subdivided and redid the detail. LOL. Thanks for the tip

Please note at frame 1:50 that when you hold the Cntrl key and click in History Undo the grey marker does not appear untill after you activate Zremesher..I was a bit confused for a while before figuring it out
@Follygon
@Follygon 2 жыл бұрын
No, it’s there. You will just need to move to a different point on your undo history to see it more clearly. ZRemeshing conveniently achieves that.

I do this method already sort of but a different way. May I ask what the difference is between doing the method in your video vs duplicating the dynamesh, zremeshing the duplicate and then projecting the dynamesh onto the zremeshed copy?
@Follygon
@Follygon 3 жыл бұрын
This is the updated version of that. It's faster and more efficient.

This is a great video! Thank you. Small extra tip, you don't have to Sub-divide and project multiple times. You can just Subdivide to the subdivision you like and then project history from there. Great stuff again :)
@Follygon
@Follygon 3 жыл бұрын
It’s actually quite worse to do that and I wouldn’t recommend. You can subdivide past your projection distance
@IRSculpts
@IRSculpts 3 жыл бұрын
@@Follygon It’s actually not that bad for subtools that are completely merged together. I agree, subtools that have multiple parts that aren’t welded together, not so great. But for something like the face in your video, it works quite well. But hey, at the end of the day, it’s all about getting a good clean mesh 😊
