Well "Hello World" is really A basic execute of a programming code But its a start for more complex learning on how to add more function into a simple code for easily and stylist interactable. Just like the donut, its very easy we just add simple shape and then add more complex design, etc. to make it pleasing to our eyes the way how it becomes beautiful and satisfied to look at every design.

I started off with the famous donut as well and soon realized 3D modeling is easy. The hard part is ironically the rendering. Having the money for a good rig and a pen tablet lol. After that the possibilities are endless.

Since your goal is car animation and short films. Learn scene composition. Lighting. Animation. You could get car models online so no you can skip car model unless you really want to. Learn texturing so you can adjust textures to be more realistic and accurate. Learn environments.

There were times when I didn’t know what to do. I’d just go on KZbin and browse randomly and learn whatever catches my eye. There were times when I get inspired by an art on Pinterest or instagram then I try it out and look for tutorials to help if I can’t pull it off. And there are also times when I get crazy ideas, break them down into parts and look for KZbin tutorials to help with each part.

Worked with mixamo for character animation so it helped reduce time spent. Free assets like the car from cgtrader helped aswell.

Other than YT tutorials, what else did you use to learn? Really trying to be on your level so i'm trying to practice or do a tutorial at least 1 hour a day if not longer and then some small projects w/o help to help reinforce what I've learned. Depends on how much you have to put down and what you’ll want to do. I use an Intel core i7, 12 gigs of ram and a 4gb Nvidia RTX 3060. Looking to upgrade tho cause I want to render animations faster.

Take it easy buddy. I’ll list some steps I think might help. 1. Have a clear idea of something you want to make. 2. Make sure it’s not too complex for your level other wise you’ll fail and be discouraged. 3. Get on tutorials for the kinda art you want to make. Don’t work along the tutorial. Just watch it. 4. Make out enough time and start working on the scene step by step. 5. Free 3rd party assets, textures and scans should be your friend. If you approach this trying to model everything you’d be frustrated.

• Try the donut one more time without tutorial and make it yours. (Customize it) • Try another tutorial you find intriguing. • From that point on start trying things yourself. If you get stuck find tutorials that’ll help
