The arc you suggested with tylers dad getting amnesia, forgetting him, and slowly regaining his memory kind of happened in the next season Ninja Steel, with Brody and his brother Aiden/Levi. That season had alot of original music, too, so maybe everything you wanted to do in Dino Charge managed to make its way over to Ninja Steel 😅

My only complaint with Dino Charge (Both seasons) was that Heckyl never got a chance to morph into the Dark Ranger after splitting from Snide. But both the Boom Studios Comics and Cosmic Fury made up for it. 😁

5:07 I’ve been saying this for years. Dino Charge and SPD are the best teams to crossover with their Sentai counterpart. Or they could have crossed over with Dino Force Brave so that it’s not two copies of the same suits

Clarification: Dino Force Brave isn't the Korean Adaptation of Kyoryuger. Power Rangers Dino Force is the Korean adaptation of Kyoryuger. Dino Force Brave is the original Korean sequel to Dino Force. Also, even if Saban had wanted to use Dino Force Brave footage to do a Dino Charge Season 3, it would pretty much be impossible since Dino Force Brave is only 12 episodes that are each roughly 15 minutes.

During the Disney era, the Power Rangers from the previous season would come and help the rangers from the current season. Saban didn't this when he owned the Power Rangers from 2011-2018, however MegaForce was the anniversary season

I also thought Tyler's dad choosing to stay away was hookey - I liked the idea that like how Koda got stuck in Ice and survived because of his engergem, Tyler's dad got stuck cooled in lava. Him missing his child growing up because he was encased in cooled lava would make more sense and make the 2 blue rangers of the team have a mirrored story

I feel like having the Kyoryuger dance in Silver Secret (where Tyler and Shelby enter that singing competition) would’ve been awesome! If they changed the type of song you sang, and have a moment where you do the dance (maybe at the end of the song before you end on the pose with your hand up), it would be a great way to incorporate it in a more natural way. That’s just my headcanon, though.😅

3:18 You popped your ankle. Okay, that hurts, but according to Johnny Yong Bosh, during the filming of the 1995 Power Rangers movie, Bosh was doing some dares with Jason David Frank at the time. In between filming, Jason dared Bosh to back flip off a tree. Bosh tried to do it, but landed on his face knocking himself out. Jason sort of left him there for a short time before running to get help. For some reason, the male cast members are always the most daring in between takes. 6:21 That show could have had a chance! It had a special with the previous Dino themed teams with Zyuranger and Abaranger. However, since Power Rangers was a non-union show, none of the actors were allowed to film there. 7:45 It didn't really have any music that was recognizable. It's a shame really. After Turbo, recognizable soundtracks became scarce. You only had the opening theme songs and that's it. The last known theme song I can remember from the entire franchise was the Silver Space Ranger theme.

Honestly i would have like to see a power rangers Dino force brave adaptation but as an speical like they do in Japan with their super sentai series (like 10 years or 20 years speicals) Which honestly I would like to see happened. I my first ever power ranger series/favorite series is Dino Charge. But ever since I was a kid I always wanted an interaction between Tyler’s dad and Fury after he joined the team. Or even Tyler brings it up in a fight with Fury. But no. It was never brought up again. *Sigh* It’s still my favorite series, but that’s my biggest issue with it.

The first one should have been sadder, we’ve had sad moments before in Power Rangers. Tommy leaving after losing the Green Ranger powers, Jason feeling responsible for Tommy losing his powers, Andros looking for his sister, Magna Defender’s son being killed in front of him, Wes thinking his dad died while he was helping the other Rangers, Wes and Jen saying goodbye to each other. I think that’s enough to prove the point, Power Rangers can have sad moments.

So true. They should have met in the middle and cater to both adults and kids. That's why Super Sentai is nearly hitting its 50th anniversary, it works. Any superhero franchise that does things for both has the momentum to keep going. Plus, it also increases it's rewatch value no matter how many years past. Many seasons like SPD and Time Force have this essence.

Honestly, I agree with almost everything you stated, except for the crossover with the Sentai team. A lot of productions steer away from using subtitles for real life languages within the last decade. Dubbing is one thing, but in general it's considered othering by doing that. What I would have put in that spot is canonizing Riley being gay, since he himself admitted to portraying his character as being into Chase. In a way, making the next dino-themed Green Ranger gay feels like course correction or making up for lost time.

If Dinothunder did Lost in Translation why couldn't you do a sentai crossover? Maybe you could of done a timeline/dimension swapping episode to bring back other rangers or sentai counterparts like when Justice League went to the wild west and the future in the Justice League cartoon.

The shirtless scene could have gone well when Tyler went primal and it affected him in his human form as well. When Tyler demorphed while being affected by the dino charger he could have had dino beast eyes and running in the woods. The next time they see him his shirt is tatted and torn and when he looked at the other rangers he morphed back into his ranger outfit. It would probably go well with the same as the powered up version in kyoryuger. At the same time a gym could have hold Tyler's dad that was made of solidified energy from fury's attack that was like Amber. Or something that happened like to the character Koda. You guys did had that 1 cheering scene and training scene that you showed off in. It was a shame that they couldn't use any of the footage from the kyoryuger movie and faced the dark ranger to free someone from the dark enger-gem. I know to well how a injured ankle feels. Sorry you had to go through that and they never used it.

Thanks, and I agree, those ideas would have been a great addition to the show. I remember that first episode and I thought that your character didn't seem all that bothered by his dad disappearing. And the guy who played your dad looked far too young to be your dad. In reality, he was only four years older than you. He left on his own. He wasn't abducted and held in stasis for twenty years. And I want to thank you (and Yoshi) for realizing how hot you two are and don't mind saying so without it feeling like you're bragging (which you could). More shirtless scenes would be great. Especially in the rain, or on a beach, (weird alert) or in a shower. Why don't you and he "hook up" and post those things online? You know we would watch. And you never know, some producer might see it and think you would be perfect for a part he's casting. Putting your "stuff" out there can't be a bad thing, can it? And please, more tank tops and arm flexing in your videos. Or you could just do these videos shirtless. No one will complain.
