I seriously look forward to your videos every week. As a stay at home mom without a lot of mom friends, these videos make me feel seen, connected with, and less alone. I also love hearing other mom's mom hacks; they inspire me to try a different take on things. Always appreciate your authenticity, it's what sets your channel apart from so many others. Thank you for keeping it real ❤️

I've been amazed on each of these mom hack videos how many I already do, because he's my only child so far and it's so validating to see another mom doing some things the same way and getting good results. The decoy method has been a huge staple in our house for a couple years now! 😅😅

My toddler too likes dresses suddenly, and I too dressed her very gender-neutrally 😋 She suddenly wanted to wear one after I wore a dress (which I hardly ever do - I'm an "all black pants and t" person 80% of the time), and showed that it has a skirt that lifts up when you spin. She then began asking "mom dress spin?" (that I put on a dress and spin in it with her) 😄 Best thing that works here is just letting her choose the clothes - I'll tell her she'll be cold, and grab the clothes with me, but she can put them on whenever she finds out it's indeed cold 😅 And it also taught her what hot and cold means really early on - she began telling me around 10 months, and I really like that she knows thise words, as they can be very umportant, including at kindergarten 😊

We made it a rule that he can’t go outside if he dosent put shoes on so now he puts shoes on easy but I make sure to take him outside to run around for even just 5 min afterwards and then he seems to keep his shoes on for most the day until I take them off because he knows he might get to go outside to play if his shoes are on

lol my toddler says no even when I’m telling him. Let’s put shoes on; NO. Runs. But if I tell him what we’re gonna do after he puts his shoes on it works better. He’s 21 months tho so maybe these will work better in like 3-6 months. ❤
@morenomijangos1 Жыл бұрын
No hate at all, just my opinion. ….idk if it’s a culture thing or just my family, but growing up I was never given “freedom” to make my own decisions such as getting dressed and what to eat. I was just told what to do and that was it. No if or buts about it. And same when I had my daughter. She didn’t have “choices” . I believe the parent should be in control and “the boss” if you will. Obviously without abuse. But that’s just my opinion. To each their own. Really admire your patience though.
@anikotakacs1228 Жыл бұрын
She is doing gentle parenting with her daughter with so many other Moms out there. Giving a toddler control is not letting them bossing you around, It is about empowering them and It can prevent a lot of power struggles in general. Meaning they have less meltdowns and tantrums. I think It is amazing that this new Mom generation is teaching their kids emotions and skills! 🤍
@morenomijangos1 Жыл бұрын
@@anikotakacs1228 I think emotions and skills can be shown to a kid while being in control as a parent . Obedience is very important as well and I don’t believe that can be properly taught when the kid is the one deciding what to do. Just not right in my opinion.
@cecicallejas6429 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you. I have a different parenting style then her but I like to watch the videos sometimes and other times I don’t only because there are so many options. My toddler is 22 months and when we have to leave to work he has no option if he wants to wear shoes for example he has to put them on so we can leave. I feel like in a fast paced real life it’s not ideal. Growing up I was not given the option either of what to wear or what to eat we ate what mom cooked and what she picked out for me. I agree with you comment thank you for pointing it out.
@morenomijangos1 Жыл бұрын
@@cecicallejas6429 THANK YOU!!!!!!!! Finally someone sees my point. I don’t want to seem like a negative hater but seriously! It’s definitely not practical for a working mom or anyone that has a busy schedule. Having to pursuade your kid to cooperate is just not right. I also love watching her videos most of the time and stay quiet , but I just had to say something. But like I said before , her patience is admirable. And of course to each their own.
