I got this subscription box last year and I can say it is reallyworth the money. The prodcuts you get, the instructions you can either read online or completely nerd out like I did and download them and print them and have a notebook to go back to over and over again as well as the videos that come with each box which you can also watch over and over again. Sarah also has a lovely community that you are a part of and can post your work and ask questions. I have not posted any of my paintings yet as I am just learning and self conscious.

I have the first 10 boxes so far and it is an amazing value. I have tons of brushes now and so much paint and paper. It is a very generous subscription. My Mom gave this to me for my Christmas present last year. The best part are the tutorials. There are 3 to each box- the paint mixing, the drawing and color swatching, and the very detailed tutorial on how to paint the scene. It’s a lovely set and I have enjoyed it so much. I had never used gouache so it was an economical way to get lots of things I need for this medium. Get it! You won’t be sorry!

I have been doing this gouache subscription course. I had never painted with gouache before starting the course, and I feel really comfortable with it as a medium, now. I think it's a great value course, and enjoy that I can do it in my own time, at home. Everything you need is supplied in the boxes. And Sarah teaches in a way that helps you build your skills each month. I really recommend this course.

I’v bought the subscription but haven’t yet been able to dive in to it since I’m studying to be an engineer and right now it’s a lot to do, but I know the boxes are there and I have a plan for next year to dive in to the boxes I’ve already have gotten. For me it’s not enough of paper, so I have bought a sketchbook for this purpose. It will also give me the artwork collected in one place for me to use as a reference later on… =)) I do think it’s worth the money and it will give you something new to learn and at the same time the necessary “me-time” that we all need these days. ;)

Hi Sarah, I’m new at painting…..watercolors…..and I’d like to know ..why is gouache better than watercolor or acrylics? Someone told me that gouache is between watercolors and acrylics. I have to say, I’m loving watercolors. Thanks for all of the videos I see that you have posted. I’ll be sure and watch some of them. Thanks again and you have a nice soothing voice.
