Ben, I enjoy the cross-over work with your brothers and even the Goozquad guys. You and Yuri have an awesome vibe when you gents work it out together. I like Yuri's 23rd as well, as he's getting it done over there in a major way.

Alot would be right. As a custom car builder of 18 years there are alot of things wrong with this build. Alot of people don't know about building cars and praise work that is inferior as they don't know any better. Good on him for trying but in this day and age the knowledge is at your fingertips, us old school folks had nothing but books and training to rely on or trial and error. This guy needs to sit down for 5 minutes and plan out builds, flying by the seat of your pants is not how to build a car, as is evident by his other mustang that is sitting collecting rust as he didn't spend even 5 minutes planning out his chassis. No bead rolling on his panels will cause oil caning and bead rolling would have added more strength than using thicker flat panels in his engine bay. He hasnt even done fitment of steering column and master cylinders with the engine in for crying out loud and yet it's "ready for paint" He built a transmission tunnel without the trans even in the car....And now again hes ready for paint and he has the standard diff and rear end in there still....could go on and on. People like to think just because he has a youtube channel he is more knowledgeable, which is a farce.

I was heating up a nut to remove a control arm years ago when a rubber bushing EXPLODED sending hot rubber directly into my eye gluing my contact to the lens of my eye. I was that guy who refused to wear safety glasses until that day. I'd appreciate seeing much more content from you. Damnit, I'm about to send you cases of different types of eye protection. Ben, the under cowl had 2 dams at the cabin air intakes to prevent water infiltration but you cut 2 entry points for the frame down tubes. How do you plan to seal to prevent water entry and how do plan to drain the water out of that space?

What about the huge gap between the lower cowl panel and tubes that you installed? That has to be water tight. All water from the roof and windshields drain into that area. You'll never be able to drive this car in the rain or even use the windshield wipers.

For colour inspiration, check out the original colours in 1965, and tweak on of those to your liking. Of course, a white with blue stripes colour scheme would suit this car, even if it may be cliche. If you go for something completely different, I still think Audi Exclusive Verdant Green is a fantastic colour. Just not silver or grey please. There's enough of those on the roads today. Like, seven out of ten cars maybe?

This is crazy nice. This shows what VTuned can do. This is so much better than the other mustangs approach, and it's not going to weight 6000 lbs. Hopefully if the other Mustang ever does get built, it will be more along these lines than the entire car being far over engineered to the strength of a locomotive (and weight...LOL). So nice job, my unprofessional highly armature opinion, this is very impressive.

The classic Mustangs were painted a Wimbledon white. This to me is a superb colour a little more creamy than the performance white and the Alpine white. As I live just down the road from Wimbledon I think you should consider this colour. Great build by the way and I actually prefer the shape of the coupe to the fast back. Don't know if I am allowed to say that though!!!

Instead of welding the cowl, you should bolt it in. While you're there you should start fabricating the roll cage, connecting the front bars to it. Since you have flat panels in the engine bay, weld some thin bars to strengthen it and avoiding flexing noises while driving.
@dlux703
@dlux703 2 жыл бұрын
Just what I was about to question. What about the roll cage that was supposed to connect to those tubes/bars in the engine bay? Why are they just chopped off at the cowl with no structural function? Getting too impatient can mean you need to go back and re-do stuff, like the frame on the other Mustang?
