My 1994 Mustang GT 408W Beast! FOR SALE!

Up for sale is my 1994 Mustang GT. I have owned this car since 2003, and it has been a lot of fun. The original 302 has been replaced with a 351 Windsor motor, that has been bored and stroked to 408 CI, or 6.7L! The car is straight and clean! I freshened up the motor with new rings, balanced the crank, new mains and cam bearings, new linked hydraulic roller lifters, new comp magnum roller rockers, new hydraulic roller cam, push rods, etc... I completed this in March. The rebuilt motor has about 1,100 miles, the body about 120K. I started building this car for the drag strip (hence the beefed up transmission) but I just honestly do not have the time to go out on the weekends like that anymore. I have not taken the car to the track since freshening the motor, or installing the new transmission. I have receipts on EVERYTHING! the brake booster is about the only OEM item under the hood. This car has been a blast! I have done well at the track and won awards at car shows. I am asking a fair price for this car. I have a lot more into this, and frankly you can not build it for less then I am asking. I am a 16 year U.S. Air Force aircraft maintainer, this vehicle has been meticulously built with the best parts available!
All this for $13,500.
Anyway here's the major details.
Engine:
408 CI Bored/Stroked Windsor motor 10.5:1 compression ratio
Lunati Roller cam .565 intake & exhaust. Linked roller lifters, 1.6 Comp Pro Magnum lifters. World Product Victor Sr. Heads. 2.10 x 1.60 Intake & Exhaust valves. 1 3/4" BBK long tube headers to off road h-pipe, to dynomax mufflers, dumped exhaust. MSD blaster coil, MSD 6 AL ignition box, Edelbrock Air Gap intake, RAM spec 2 HD clutch, Astro A5 Transmission. 3:73 gear ratio. QuickFuel 750 Double pumper. Under drive pulleys, Oil catch can, 3-core aluminum radiator, Flex-a-lite variable fan controller. Battery relocate to trunk, solid motor mounts. Maximum Motorsports clutch cable. the brackets and pulleys have been powder coated to match the carb.
Suspension & braking:
Drag pack front/rear springs. Tokico front struts, Lakewood 10 way adjustable rear shocks. Tubular upper control arms. Sway bar removed, Air bag in pass side rear spring. BBK Caster camber plates, Welded sub frame connector. Dual piston front brake caliper upgrade, drilled/slotted rotors. 18"x10" wheels (they no longer have the red rings...old pic).
Exterior:
Hardwood Cobra "RR" 6" cowl hood. rubber front splitter. 5% window tint. HID headlights.
Interior:
After market race seats. "Bullet" Mustang interior trim package, triple gauge A-pillar cluster, shift light/digital tach. Rear seat delete. Push button start/switch panel.

Wow i saw a video of this car 3 years ago when i had a 94 gt and you were thinking about selling it then. I own a 96 svt cobra currently and i just dropped it off in the shop to get heads done, longtubes ,full exhaust and a bunch of other goodies. Good luck with the sale man its really nice.

it wasn't hard. i just cut out a templet with cardboard, and after several versions, i got one that i liked, then i cut thin metal, using tin snips, and made what you see. the starter button sits down in the cig lighter.

someone sold them years ago.... i think i saw it in an american muscle mag, or something, but mine is better as i added the start button. I totally should make those....i get asked about it A LOT! i re connected my starter to the button. the key energized all the circuits, but if you tried to crank the key, nothing happened. the push button was wired to a relay, and the relay handled the amperage needed for the starter. if you ever look at the mustang starter there are 2 very big wires, then one tiny wire. the tiny wire is what engages the little gear into the flywheel to start the car.

hard to say, but according to my drag slips, and compared to similar builds, a conservative 500-525 HP. Those windsors are animals!

It started life as a 5.0. back when I originally rebadged it. Technically, a Windsor based 5.8 mustang is considered a GT-R, but I didn't want to confuse the import crowd. There was no SVT in '94, but I liked dressing up the rear a bit. Last time I checked it was my car. Trolling the internet and telling folks how to spend their money? Come on man!

How was your A5 astro transmission at the time? And how much torque/horsepower did your mustang push? Planning to purchase a A5 transmission but not to much reviews about it.. Hope u can help thanks!

it's an excellent transmission. go to corral.net and you will see a lot of threads about the A5. i never dyno'd my car but i estmate 500+ hp and tq.

IIRC it is a "RR" hood from hardwood. it was bought in 2005, so it's been a while.
