Just ordered my Taycan Sport Turismo GTS in mamba green with carbon fibre details, still deciding if I want to put some other wheels later or just keep the black GTS wheels... The only downside is that I have to wait till May next year for mine to arrive... Got to make due with a Tesla model S till then.

I didn't go for the Panoramic roof though, It can't be opened I was told and you can't fit a rack on the roof should you want to... Also I was a little bit on the fence if I wanted the Bose or go for the Burmester Audio like I have in my Panamera Turbo S Hybrid, in the end I went with the Bose, glad to see you also went with that, looks like I made the right choice =P...

I have found I use the sports sound a lot when driving where there are pedestrians around so they can hear something is coming. I live down a private road with no pavements and we get a lot of people walking their dogs in the road, without the sound on they often do not hear me and have no idea I’m behind them until I toot the horn. So it not only sounds cool, it’s a safety feature!

Thanks for the heads up in Spec and spec’s it up fairly close to yours. Apart from my own preference in colour I added exterior colour wheels , rear logo in ice blue and went for night vision instead of pan roof. But I also added adaptive cruise ,150 booster and 22 ac charging ? The adaptive cruise I would have thought would be a necessity.

Gold (decals) on red looks better than silver on red. There’s a good video of a GT3 that’s good on red. Looks sharp. Didn’t think it would be. SF 49ers color combo.

Is there a noticeable difference in performance between 4 and 4s? The 0-60 is better with 4s sure, but with the instant torque of EV will that be really noticeable in day to day use?

The Cross Turismo is very high on the list to replace my M5 and given the price of Porsche's extras, I reckon you have chosen an excellent spec. However I would probably have bitten the bullet and paid for something like Gentian Blue. I look forward to finding out how you find the car size wise especially on some of the narrower roads and everyday problems like the ludicrously tight multi storey car parks. I will say that the PZeros are great summer tyres with huge grip but once the temperature falls below about 8 degrees and there is any damp on the road, the grip seems to fall off a cliff.

I test drove the Turbo Cross Turismo last week... what a dream car. Thinking to purchase a 4s as well... only problem (beside the Porsche prices :)) is the range... roughly half of a Tesla hmmm. On the other side, the driving experience is just so so much better than in a Tesla, like day and night (haven't driven in the newest model yet though).

If you drive the Porsche like a Porsche, and drive a Perf Tesla like a Porsche (well attempt to as per your driving experience comments) you probably won’t find the range difference 2x. Porsche does well at speed and tends to underperform its ratings. It’s a charging monster too, and with Tesla potentially opening up after the trials then more charge points suddenly. Currently it seems Superchargers are running at 400V, now its possible those units could do 800V once enabled but for now I’d definitely add the relatively cheap (as Porsche options go) 150kW @ 400V option.

I went for Mamba green. Chose rear wheel steer as my friend has this with his Panamera and loves it. Also seat heating and ventilation, Innodrive, Turbo S wheels. Otherwise same as yours except I wasn't keen on the look of the off-road package, however, it does look good in your white/black colour combo.....might have to rethink my colours - I've got plenty of time to think about it as mine is another 12 months away 🙁

I went for mamba green as well! Went for the basic "4" model, but fully specced it since I like the comfort of it. I was lucky that my Porsche dealer had an open slot, and delivery is around December/January. Can't wait for it.

I think the mandatory and most functional option is a 22kw internal charger. in my opinion it is a must have option for every EV. it is a salvation if there are no superchargers nearby but only AC.

I bought it with the 22kw internal charger. Then found out our house has no way of supporting that. So that was quite a lot of money down the drain. :P

but when you go on a trip or come on a charger and the dc is busy you can charge the ac much more and faster than at 11kw per hour. or connect to Ac and when Dc is released in about 20 min continue charging with Dc. you didn't lose 20 minutes unnecessarily

@@zmatuzalem2009 I have never not vern in that situation this far. Always 270 or 150 kw available. Only once during the holiday have I had to opt for a slow 50 kw charger. But this might be different from country to country I guess. There are charging stations everywhere here, but the number of electric cars are growing fast, so they need to keep building out the networks. :)

in my country it is different, there is no stronger than 175kw chargers, 90% of chargers are 50kw. that's why the 22kw Ac is a lifeline.

You can purchase the sports sound as OTA update later, if you are worrying about resale. Depending where you buy the car, that might even be a cheaper option. E.g. in DK you pay 40% taxes on car plus all options, but if purchased after there’s no tax.

Your Cross Turismo is stunning but I would be terrified to drive that on UK roads. I live in the US but spend my summers in the UK and I always hire the smallest, cheapest car I can get that comfortably fits 4 because the country lanes, that I love to drive, are so treacherous. Even in town, every inch of width seems to add significantly to the risk. I feel I've done really well if, after 3 months, there are no significant scrapes or scratches on the car.

Been to the Midlands myself, driven on a 2-lane secondary 'highway' barely 12 feet across surrounded by hedgerows -- at legal limit (50-60mpg?) ... absolutely terrifying. This car is more at home in Germany or Canada / USA, IMHO.

Lovely car and a very nice spec...I think I would have gone for the gloss black door handles though as it continues the black accent line from the charging point. I really like the 'taycan 4S' in red on the door...I would never have thought of that, lovely touch. This is the only electric car that interests me..although I found it only as roomy inside as my S3...so will probably go for the RS3 and save £40-50K I love the Porsche spaceship noise, but still think 1,2,4,5,3 is a better aural treat. 👍🏻😁 Enjoy the Porsche...can't wait to see the review. 😎

I love this spec but if you use a lot of multi level car parks the rear wheel steering is helpful especially if you're not the one parking the car. The 22kw charging if you're near 3 phase AC only chargers is good for future proofing too for road trips and if you do a lot of driving day to day. We just fitted a 22kw for my neighbor as she's driving up and down the country day after day having on site meetings it really drains the battery and 7kw home charger just takes too long to top it up, the 22 allows to top it fully during short periods of cheapest rate electric.

I think it would take a brave person with a lot of money to pick the flashlight pink on the GT3. Not sure on the white for the Taycan in the UK climate. Otherwise nice spec on Taycan but the full leather is so much nicer and should come as standard on a car of this price. Mission 3 wheels with white colour is lovely.

Raz really doesn’t like that car at all, don’t think he’ll even think about buying one. Plus, the EQC and EQA are “right now” cars, for Mercedes to jump start their EV sales. So they just took the GLA and GLC, ripped out the engine, gearbox, fuel tank and shoved in all the EV propulsion bits. The EQS and upcoming EQE are where it’s at, dedicated EV platform, immense immense range, those are the one that intrigue me personally.
