i knew someone who lived in his car in California. he would rent a spot in a parking garage to stay out the sun and use a cooler with ice in with a fan running over the ice he would turn it on just around bed time and he would fall asleep in the cool wake up hot but he said he slept like a baby.

Jake your videos are inspirational. I was an alcoholic who was drinking all day everyday for about 10 months. I decided to quit. I'm currently in the hospital and don't know when I will be released. Hey! I lived in my truck in Santa Barbara for 6 years and saved up more money than I’ve ever had in just 4 years of deliberate saving. Finally decided to move out of town and drove to the middle of the country a few months ago. I’m able to buy a home now but I’m not convinced I’m done living the truck life! Letting my savings mature in the stock market for the time being. Keep up the positive mental attitude and enjoy this time to build your new reality!

Jake I think you should spend some time in Monterey. The aquarium is world famous, the wharf is great, cannery row is world renowned for all it offers and there is a hidden gem called “Compagnos deli” best sandwiches in Monterey. It’s even home to the Monterey blues and jazz festivals, where Jimi Hendrix burned his guitar. Pacific grove (also known as butterfly town USA) is a beautiful spot. It’s only a bit north of where you are currently. Also in that area are Carmel which is a very ritzy town, probably run into Burt Reynolds or someone famous while you’re there, and then also Big Sur, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Consider driving back up north a little ways
