Man the MPCKEY 61 has the best Keybed I’ve ever played, better than the Roland fantom 6. The Plug-in sounds are Great! The MPC KEY61 is a Legendary piece mark my words. I have no regrets buying the MPCKEY61 or about its build quality. Its the best deal you can get right now. It’s on sale for $1499. You keep saying sound quality, buy external gear, go get 500 series compressors, tape decks, mixing boards, eq, converters and color the sound how you want. Or just use a vintage MPC.

Bro, It’s not good. I’m not trying to be a KZbinr. I’m a real musician, Composer, sound designer, songwriter, music producer. Akai has not been putting out gear that matches the price they’re asking for. Please 🙏🏽, sir, STOP 🛑 THE 🧢!

are you for real ? my roland controller A49 has a better keyboard lol, the native instrument s serie too btw.... try to put more than 4 plugins in that akai key stuff, the ram maxes out, better by a real rompler keyboard, akai products OS are never finished in my honest opinion and the ram cpu etc are all outdated of at least 10 years to stay nice and not say more than that... I wish someone will enter the competition and release real dope hardware but better than those new mpcs. The idea behind the key61 is dope but the execution poor.

@@LaidbackSounds dude I owned a Roland fantom 6, and have a s49 mk1 by NI. For the price range the MPC KEY 61 is the best Keybed I’ve played on. Nobody’s talking about ram or the OS, stay on topic my guy!

@@WeFullTime the s49 mk1 has weak keys, im talkijg about mk2 which are very similar keys than older roland boards, im not a fan of the new fantoms btw too. But key61 nope Man this machine is overrated on all levels. I put an ipad with a nice controller over this piece any day. I d made several mistakes on my purchases over 22 years making music but one thing i never done is trying to justify the price of a board when i dont like it , when its not justifying the money its back to the shop straiht up
