Man Imma need a lot of advice from you. I have a similar story. Dad owned a z31 when I was little remember it like yesterday. Tried to get her road worthy 5-6 years ago but just didn’t have the knowledge to. Sent her to a mechanic still isn’t running. But when I was 17 I got my own z31 been restoring and building her since and soon I’m going to start trying to fix my fathers. It’s been a fun year with my Z

Amazing cars, your 88 is such an inspiration for me. Been following the progress for a while now, it’s awesome to hear you’re nearing completion with it, congrats!Finally found a turbo manifold for my 87 so hopefully I can start the NA2T process once I have the funds! Love seeing a true passion for the Z31’s, and the amount of time and effort you have put towards these cars. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to find a ‘86 Z31 or a slick-top to build how I want. Currently have a NA z32, but only time will tell if I decide to modify it at all. Keep up the good work!

Sweet! Those numbers are right at my old numbers. I was just 36-38 psi and on a bb 6767 and 15 yrs ago everyone said the turbo couldn’t do it and was to small 😂. with oem modified stock manifolds spool was very quick. Curious how the equals effect the spool/curve. Keep an eye on your oil pump! I had to go to the nismo chromoly oil pump gear at that power level. the factory gear starts to crack and separate under load. Keep up the good work!

Do you have a vg30 or 33? If you have a vg30, you have two good options 1) there are ARP studs that are wayyy stronger than factory 2) drill and tap then holes to match the VG33 studs as they are a 10mm stud. The vg30 are a 8mm stud

Yes, that was me. This is the only z31 widebody like this in the country. There's not another one like it with the exception of Adam Corolla and Nissan USA having one.

Yeah they're definitely not as popular as the LS or a Coyote. But you can definitely build one to support high HP.

What harness do you recommend to LS swap a z31

If I was to do a LS swap, I would get Megasquirt 3 Goldbox and their LS harness that they sell. That's what I used for my VK56 swap.

You can use the z32 AC bracket and relocate the AC down low. You'll need to get custom AC lines made

I just took the lines I needed shortened to a shop that makes hydraulic lines. They charged me somewhere around $80 for the work. That's it!
