I completed building and tuning and learning how to play a few song on my rimbstubes. I want to paint them next, but I am not sure how, is there a special type of paint or do I sand the pipes?

Hey! I would run a few tests. I used ABS which I have heard is more conducive to holding spray-paint than PVC. If you have any spare pipes, I would try it out before doing the full instrument.
