This was super helpful and insightful. I currently own a wrx which is heavily modified and am looking for something a bit more comfortable for everyday use. Love the look and performance of the Mach 1 however it would just be another race car and I'd probably be more comfortable in a pp1 or pp2. Plus I'm not huge but I am over 200 lbs and 6ft tall and if those recaros are anything like the ones in the st and rs then it's def not for me. Your comment about sitting on top of the bolstering rather than in it is spot on 😂

Hi Kait Rose Dave from Western Australia here. Thanks for the great video. I'm in the process of buying a new 2024 Mustang Dark Horse; but it appears that the Handling Pkg won't be available in Australia. So, I have going back and forth between the 2024 GT, and a 2022 Mach 1. I can still get a Fighter Jet Grey Mach 1 here with only 25kms on the clock; but it's nearly the same price as the Dark Horse, and maybe 20k more. I have been in contact with Mustang Motorsports Australia, and if I get the 2024 GT, I will upgrade to either the Roush Stage 3 or Steeda Q850. But, being in Australia I won't know until the end of the month as to what I can get with my new car order. Have tested a 2023 GT and I liked it a lot. But I want more. Sorry for being long-winded, but your video has helped me a lot in making decision. Love the new Long-Tube headers you installed with the Corsa. I may do the same depending on what Roush or Steeda can do for me. Love your videos. They are great!

Oh I know that place! I live off North Gate. Have you noticed the loss of power driving those cars at altitude in Colorado Springs? Or have you never driven them at sea level?

Those Nitto tires look as if there was too much negative camber set for the car they were on. I have the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on my 370Z sport coupe and like them, except for the overly flexible sidewalls that contribute to less precise steering. My next tire change on the car might be with the Michelin Pilot Cup 2s, more of a track oriented tire but still drivable on the street.

What if any difference in how close your head gets to the roof is there between the Recaro seats and the stock seats? So in other words are the stock seats sitting higher so you have less room to wear a helmet?

Had a 1LE. It was a great car - one of the better track cars I had; I’d say a smudge better than my GT350 although the 350 sounds way better. Now I have a GT500 CFTP

Thanks so much for the comment! How exciting for your 2023! It might be too late but the magna ride is so impressive. It makes it feel like a complete different mustang. But I dont think you'll notice much of a difference unless youre planning on lowering it.

Great video. I’m in a dilemma right now. Trading in my ‘19 Kona Blue GT for either a 2023 Mach 1 or ordering a 2024 Dark Horse. Not gonna lie the interior of the Dark Horse is a turn off for me, I heard it’s has upgrade limitations and it’s a first round new model; just afraid there will be kinks that need to be worked out. Test drove the Mach 1 and wow! The difference in handling from the GT is amazing!

I just traded my 2019 pp level 2 in on a grabber blue Mach 1. I was contemplating the same thing. Mach 1 vs dark horse I’m really glad I chose the Mach 1. The tremec manual is like a dream compared to th pp l2 mt 82 . Ford should be ashamed that they even put that mt 82 in there. I was hoping the tremec would be an option on the regular gt for 24. When it turned out it wasn’t, that sealed the deal and I bought a Mach 1. Year one dark horse bugs will need worked out and I’m sure they will be overpriced.

Someone needs to say it. ..the Mach is just a parts bin car. How do I know ? I have an 2004 MAch. A car that was made with left over parts before the new model change and a high price .The GT is better I have one too.

15 GT PP1, staggered Nitto's on 20's. Eibach lowering suspension, borla attack cat backs. Replaced upper and lower front grill for more intake. Kenne Bell liquid cooled super charger. Car has excellent acceleration and handling. Thought about trading it on a MACH 1 but my GT runs faster, handles and the brembos grab. Not a fan of digital dash on the 24's

The rev-match IS really cool, but the problem I have with it is that I've driven my entire life toe-heeling, so I wind up giving the Mustang (just bought it) extra gas. I really have to UN-learn the downshifts.

They lowered the red car to much.. 1" is all you need.. I can't stand that look where the wheels are into the wheel wells.. Thats just me though.. Some people like it.. IDK. All I would drop my GT is an inch at the most.. And the other issue is there are Performance pack GT's that are spot on with the Mach as far as handling goes.. And if they are both automatic's there is really no difference between them..

I had a 2021 GT Premium with a manual MT82 transmission. Complete garbage! I could put up with the cheap plastic interior, engine tick and the glitchy electronics, but the drive train was garbage. Kept the GT for 2 months and unloaded it....was a pile of junk. Bought a real car from another manufacturer with a standard TREMEC couldn't be happier...FU FORD! BTW - if you did buy this POS with a MT82 you can join the class action suit.

Colorado! 🏔your mustangs are rad. Love the Mach 1! Test drove both the 10r80 Mach 1 and a Tremec Mach 1 and the manual is just too fun. Best manual gearbox I’ve used aside from a 911.
