I love this! Videos of how planners actually use their planners are my favorite and are so inspiring! I'm using an Appointed planner for my personal daily planner. I use a Filofax Original A5 with inserts from ptpaper on Etsy for my planner at work. A lot of my work is confidential so I want/need to keep it separate from my personal appointments. I did a super fat custom Agendio for my horse planner this year and am VERY excited about it. This is the planner I refer to the most in later years and it's taken me forever to figure out something I like. I am a long time PowerSheets user for my goal planner, but after like 8 or 9 years I switched to MakseLife for 2023 and am loving it so far. I have a Val Marie Paper Rhythms Prayer journal, this is a first for me to use this and I like it so far. I have a couple of other random notebooks for things, too.

So glad to see your video today! That was my lunch time treat today while I procrastinated on my other mundane Monday tasks. Lol. My planner this year is Plum Paper daily through the end of April and then I am going back to my diy planner in a Michaels Artist Loft sketchbook. I get the ones that are close to a5 size, put a mini binder clip on them and I can slide a pen into that. put stickers on the cover and add clear contact paper to protect it and I'll be good to go. Not perfect but it is personal and that's my mantra for the year.

I enjoy your reviews so much! For me I have been using the Common Planner as my main squeeze since December and I am absolutely loving the Tomoe River paper. I have actually felt encouraged to write in it to the point that the daily pages may not actually be enough! This is great; I have watched it several times already. I think I will watch it again. Very motivational. My 2023 (so far) are Erin Condren, life planner (for monthly and weekly), and Planner Perfect (for daily, menu planning, and spiritual writing). I use google calendar for work and Mary Engelbreit's desk weekly calendar for the top three daily tasks (I love that one). I also have Erin Condren's project notebooks for meeting notes and work follow-ups. This year I have added The Five Minute Journal to my planners. I also printed the yearly goal-setting page that you recommended and so far I like it a lot. Thanks for all you do and teach us, Amanda. We love your videos.

I really love these videos and seeing what you use and how you use it! This year I am using the sprouted daily; I haven’t used a daily in years so hoping it goes well as I get further into the year. Thanks Amanda, I love seeing your stack videos. This year, I have 3 Hobo Weeks - 1 for work, and 1 for personal and 1 for prayer and bible verse memorizing. This is my 1st year breaking our personal and work and I am still figuring out whether I like it. I also just started Yr 2 of Hobo A6 5 years - and it is so nice to reflect on last year's comments. for an online class I am currently taking, I use a Pen+Pillar notebook.

My planner stack includes Planner Perfect in wide and Silk and Sonder, which I use for wellness. I use the Erin Condren teacher planner for work. My journals are all PP as well but in A5. And Passion Planner is just a workhorse-I love a lot a lot about it and still pull it out on busy weeks myself and debate staying in it at times! ha! I love your content so much! I’m a new listener to Best Laid Plans and I came over here per Sarah’s recommendation and couldn’t be happier I did! I’m getting back into planner planning this year. I have two boys, too, and I love the writing you're doing specifically for them. I haven't created a notebook for them, but at Christmas, I write a letter to each of them and put it in their stockings. I can't remember when I started, but I've been doing it for many years now. I really like the look of the Golden Coil planners, but the price is a bit out of my range. I have been using a similar looking planner I bought at Barnes and Noble from DesignWorks Inc. that is working well. Maybe someday I'll splurge on the Golden Coil. Enjoy your 2023 stack! I have missed watching your videos!! You already know my lineup for 2023. 😉 I feel like the Laurel Denise is filling a void that I just couldn't work out before. I don't know if that means I'll be in it for the 'entire' year, but I am super happy with it so far and everything that I can fit into such a well organized space. And I am still really loving the SBS planner. They layout is working great for me. Me using both of these planners still surprise me as much as they surprised you. 😃 I also decided a few days ago that I want to get the Planner Perfect accessory boxes this year (I know I wouldn't go through a whole planner or journal each month, so I can buy those separately as I need them). I am really craving that seasonal splash in my planning, and I feel like it would help keep the planners that I am using feeling new and exciting. If I sold my MakseLife planners, that would help fund the PP monthly boxes. I don't know for sure yet, though, if I'm brave enough to sell the MakseLife stuff, or if I would prefer to keep it and just pull it down and re-date it whenever I feel the urge to use it (which would be very easy to do). That would also keep me from feeling tempted to buy new MakseLife planners in the future. We'll see! 🤔 By the way, I remember when you started that original five year journal! I can't believe it has been five years and you are done with it now!! 🤯

Great share! I’m still roaming between too many planners this year! I already decided the EC 8x10 soft bound vertical is too big! I have the EC pocket that I really got into last year and used faithfully all year, so that’s a for sure! Just appts and very top level tasks or errands. So far I’m loving the daily petite again! I have my first Archer & Olive notebook and it is heavenly! That’s my daily journal. Last year I used a Stalogy A5. I also am doing a daily brain dump in a trimmed to wide size Stalogy as I really miss bullet journaling!

Loved seeing your setup! My 2023: Erin Condren A5 softbound horizontal as my personal planner, including budget and health tracking, "seed" tracking, and personal appointments. An EC 7x9 notebook as my work planner (I'm able to easily draw a simple layout that is perfect for my work, and no way any company will ever do it as it's a 4-day week. I've pretty much given up on finding a work planner and accepted notebook life.) A Leuchtturm 5yr journal (Am into my third year) A notebook from Paperchase for my regular journal and reflection work. And an EC softbound notebook for my "seeds" prep. This one will probably last a few years, am unlikely to use it up this year. So far it's going great. I do think I'll move to a monthly in 2024 for my personal planner though. Because I could do the prep work in there as well. I just got tempted away by the EttaVee designs this year.

Currently using Sterling Ink, B6 and loving it. I use a cheap(ish) softcover B5 size notebook from a company called Rettacy which I get on Amazon, for my daily lists and I'm really liking it so far.

I'm using Simplified Butterfly Garden weekly and Planner Perfect. I also use a religious spiritual journal I bought on QVC. I really want to implement using a daily list notebook. I am surprised you switched to Laurel Denise. Looks like a great planner!!

Oh. My. And I thought I had a lot of planners/journals/notebooks, but I think you have me beat. I got quite a bit of Erin Condren things, a monthly planner for one specific client, another for work - a vertical like yours, and an A5 vertical for timekeeping. I also went nuts with Hobonichis and got the English Cousin for Daily planning and the Cousin Avec for memory planning, and the A6 for journaling. And lastly I have a Plum Paper weekly and a Midori B6 weekly with notes that I have no idea what to do with - oh and a first quarter petite planner from EC that goes in the A5 size traveler's style notebook - also no idea what I'll use that for. I do have several undated planners that were gifts. I also saw your last Clever Fox video and was very intrigued so that may also join the stack 😉 I am also intrigued by that Laurel Denise... I ADORED this video - and I'm VERY GLAD to hear you will be doing these monthly for 2023! HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉🎊🎉🎊

With hourly--hummm....If you don't have the need to even time black out tasks then maybe you use that whole section for daily gratitude or scripture- or just journaling about the day....

My planner stack for 2023 is the Ashley Shelley monthly (your collab) that I use for my business. I’m missing the old paper- hope she changes it next year! My weekly is an academic dated passion planner that I use for my appointments and homeschooling. My journal for nightly personal journaling is a Stalogy B6. My last issue of Jmb living before my subscription ends I’m using for my gratitudes and for writing out my daily prayer to God.

I have 5 more months in my 2022-23 Rifle Paper Co from Target. I saw another comment saying they get their variety from notebooks, and that's what I do as well - just swap out notebooks as I want or need to. I try to fill one up before I move on.

I have enjoyed sitting quiet and watching your video!!I am going to check out a couple items.I also went from EC to a Hobonichi Cousin for all things hubby's medical,and house stuff(which is going to be different for sure).One thing I would of loved to see is that Golden Coil would reconsider the fabric covers...my first and only GC got ruined by water:(That's not good at 100.00 price point(and that was after the 15percent discount)...I have thought about trying a designer cover,but am honestly concerned about it being ruined as well

The Laurel Denise planner looks very interesting! I love that the month is always visible. I might look into that for 2024. I finally started a 5 year Leuchtturm (influenced by you!). I miss days sometimes but back fill them with an overview of the day. I'm still using Personal Planner as the bulk of my system. They came out with inserts this year so I moved to using those for work and am loving them. I use a little Leuchtturm flip notebook for meetings and on the go notes and the like and then transfer it over. I still have Personal Planner's coiled A5 that I keep open for home to-do lists/tasks, and a ring bound home bujo with just 2023 monthly calendars and dot grid pages (not sure if I'll keep the rings or coil for home planning; leaning towards the coil). I also have a Moleskine project planner that I keep open on my counter that I'm using to track workouts and record what I do everyday at home. I also have The Budget Mom's Budget by Paycheck Workbook as my budget planner that I keep in a 3-ring binder. I abandoned the A4 Personal Planner that I used for work before running out of note pages and switching to rings. I decorated it nicely but won't be using it at the office anymore. I keep it open to the current week on my home office desk so I can jot down notes or vent about work things when needed. Also, I am in my second softcover Leuchtturm A5 for journaling. I try to buy a different color every time. It makes recording my thoughts feel extra special 🥰 It's a lot but I don't use every piece every single day, so it all works somehow lol.

Was it harder to see Pierce and then have to leave? Was it hard for him to keep going? Did he get a little homesick? When we visited my son's area he was transfered for the day. So we saw his companion, his ward and where he lived but didn't see him.

Really good questions. These were concerns. But we talked about it beforehand and his mission pres. talked to him beforehand too. For Pierce and I both it didn't make us sad or him more homesick....it actually brought us both tremendous joy! We are both glad we had this very special opportunity and on Christmas Day nonetheless. We feel it was definitely a blessing for both of us and was orchestrated in heaven;) Too many things fell right into place to make this miracle possible and this trip was planned to my sisters before he was even called to this area on his mission. I think the Lord knew we needed to see each other. We are best friends...and 2 years was too long! It gave us both a huge boost to get us through the last 9 months.--but having said all that...I understand that for many missionaries and Mom's this would not be the best thing to do. I think each relationship is so unique that absolutely a blanket answer on if this is a good idea can't be given:) Neither one of us cried afterward or were sad. I cried some tears of joy on the way home that day. But it was very fixed in our minds this would be a short visit and he was still in "missionary" work mode while we were at church with him;)

@@AmandasFavorites it;s wonderful to see miracles big and small in our lives. Just hugging him must have been so incredible! I can relate to everything you are saying. My sons served just before the changes with calling more than twice a year and more access through email. I think the changes and more access to home help missionaries. My sons said there were so many times that they would have loved to ask me how I would answer a specific question. But by the time pday rolled around they had already had to answer it. You go to see him in his element at one of the pinnacle times in his life. That is an incredible blessing! So happy for you both and that he only has 8 months now! The rest of the time will fly by!!!

It's possible both ideas developed independently at the same time. I mean anyone who uses different planners has potentially had that idea themselves. Unless it was patented, you can't claim anyone "stole" an idea or has exclusive rights to an idea. The branding and execution of her brand is where the creativity is and behind her success with that idea. Other people who may have had the same idea, possibly even before her, had the same opportunity to be successful with it just as much as she did. Also, I don't know who LD is or who DIY Fish is and have no affiliation or loyalty to either, just making a general statement about these types of comments
