I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the STEP 1 last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard

Thank you so much! It's based on the Anking deck (has both step 1 and step 2 in it). I added my step 1 deck to the same google drive folder linked in the description box but keep in mind that there's some crossover between step 1 and step 2 material so the step 1 deck has chunks missing because i moved them into the step 2 deck while studying for that. Just be sure to use the tags in the decks to organize things how you want and move the step 1 tagged stuff in the step 2 deck back into the step 1 deck in order to make it complete again if that makes sense.

Thank you so much! I didn’t suspend all step 1 cards bc a lot of them actually are applicable to step 2 material so I just went through the anking deck and re-organized for step 2 using the associated tags

I’m still a newbie with Anki, do you know why when I try to import the anki deck you have so kindly shared, it says 2,868 were not imported because their note type has changed? Thank you

Hi Marlee! First haha. I will be applying to colleges in the fall, and I was wondering if the rank of the undergrad school matters when it comes to medical school admissions. Furthermore, I was wondering if the rank of the MEDICAL school matters when you are applying for competitive residencies such as johns hopkins, etc. I have heard mixed things about both so I was hoping you can clear some confusions lo. thank you!

Hi! Great question. Each medical school and residency has slightly different criteria they use to evaluate applicants but speaking from just my experience, crushing the standardized tests (MCAT, STEP 2) means more than rank. A lot of med schools don't rank anymore, or they do quartiles so it's hard for residency programs to evaluate evenly using rank. As much as I hate standardized tests, they are one of the few measuring sticks programs can use that levels the playing field.
