I was planning on ordering the Shiho and Chiyo figures myself, but ended up deciding against it as I can't really justify the price. I'm not sure if it's just me or if you feel the same way too, but I feel that in recent years, a lot of manufacturers are charging pretty high prices for simple 1/7 scale figures that have roughly the same quality as say a GSC pop up parade. Other than that, the Flandre Scarlet figure looks really nice! I currently have the 1/5 Saki figure based on Asanagi's illustration on preorder that I will never financially recover from haha.

I absolutely feel the same way and it's another reason I don't preorder too often - not worth the price when released, but if something I want goes on sale after I'll pick it up then or aftermarket used depending on the figure and price. Having issues finding a pic of that Touhou figure, but I love Saki's design so I'm sure it looks awesome. Hope it turns out good for you :)

Ah, the figurine I preordered isn't a Touhou figure. It's an original character by an illustrator called Asanagi. Google RASETHUHIME and it should be the first amiami link that pops up!

It feels like a lot of people like Shiho but seem to struggle with what they want to do with her in terms of pose and expression in terms of art and figures.

Yeah, plus the other GuP figures by Wave are 1/8 vs these that are 1/7. Wish they'd finish the other commanders for the Dreamtech line - now that I'd be super excited for.

The Shiho secondary face I like the idea of. Her trying to force an uncharacteristic smile betrays her stoic demeanor, but it's also something I'd rather have presented as a drawing? Definitely going to display her with her default faceplate on.

When you explain it like it makes sense and I like it too, but agree that it'd look much better as artwork vs a figure.

Yup, I almost always have something GuP in the ocean taking its sweet time getting to me. I also have few Tanya figures on their way at the moment, but when these things will arrive is a mystery.

I like the first two, they looked like part of a SWAT team. I don't get it, why would you take their clothes off? And who cares what the lol like underneath?

I really hope they make more PocketArts figures like them. The 001, which I might look for in the future is similar, but the others don't follow the same style sadly. I don't get why people want to take their clothes off. I've seen some videos where people display them like that and you know, people are free to do what they want, but I think it's degenerate.

Way back I used to carry those things on the job of you get my meaning. The team members I never had LOL. I can understand why the ones who actually designed and created the mold may want to add the details as a way of showing off their skills and attention to detail.
