Great video ! I have been crocheting for years and I have never heard of ami sticks! They sound pretty useful though. Also never heard of those Furls hooks, wow, they are spenny but I am intrigued. Thank you for all the recommendations :)

Thank you so much!! I hadn’t heard of ami sticks until I saw someone using them on Instagram, but they’re so useful! I use them any time I need to sew one piece to another! I haven’t bought a Furls hook yet but they’re calling my name, they’re so pretty. ❤

Ooh furls metal hooks are beautiful to work with and they gave me a discount code for my next purchase which was a bonus. The only thing I do find with them is if I’m doing small pieces to sew on I need more resistance so use a regular hook for that but I love the furls, they’re high on my Christmas list x

@@lk2861 haha, I’m glad you’re excited to try it! I love Bernat Baby Blanket, it’s so lovely to work with. I use a 7mm for my octopuses or a 6.5 for my XL loaf cats, either works well for me. I yarn under, it took me ages to get used to it but I prefer how the stitches look! 💕

I've read that Bernat Blanket and Bernat Baby Blanket are identical, it's just the branding, and colours that are different.

I think Baby Blanket definitely feels softer to touch, but the thickness and everything else is identical!

I was wondering something, and i don't know if it's only me. But do all velvet/ chenille yarns that are marked "baby something" (like baby snuggle) shed like hell? 😅

Most of them shed, some are definitely worse than others! The Yarnsmiths Chenille doesn’t shed much at all, but Parfait Chunky/JellyBaby/Dolce etc. all shed quite a bit. I don’t usually mind too much now but when I first started I found it difficult! 🧶
