Remington 870 and Moss berg 500 are both outstanding. Carried the 870 in the Coast Guard for 27 years. I also have the Mossberg, but my all time favorite is the Model 37 from Ithaca. Either of the three would work.

Wow That is an attest to its durability for sure! I went in for a Mossb, came out with a Remington! No issues with it ever, always works. I have never heard of the Model 37 or Ithaca…ill have to check that out are they still in production?

everyone starts somewhere with any collection..... I had 2 guns for almost 2 years before I bought my 3rd one...... Mosssberg 500 and a Glock 17..... Never had or shot an SCCY so I cant say much about them..... I've only heard things about them. Now the Caniks, I can tell you all about them. I have 3 of them. Never failed me. Same with the Glock. Never owned a Remington but I've shot both platforms.... Great collection Bro! Keep going. Just sub'd.

@@RIDEreviewRELOADThey are just as bad, if not worse. The laws are intentionally vague as to be interpreted any way anti-gun politicians want to at that time. Cool, I have cousins in GA, and I will be moving to southeastern TN about 15 min from the GA border in a few years! Can’t wait!

My favorite Glock by far is the 43x. Sccy is a bad brand- trade it in for a better subcompact like a shield plus and you’ll be happy. Canik makes excellent handguns- I like them better than Glocks
