Dude destroyed territories, ruined better wrestling style by pushing the entertainment side more than actual good wrestling (with few exceptions), bought the cops several times (for example when Snuka murdered her gf), was a pervert who s*xually abused many women, destroyed careers of many wrestlers, pushed his own opinions thinking he knows better than the actual fans, etc... It really isn't crazy that he is not in the HoF just because he was a greedy but good businessman who really got carried to fame by the Attitude Era talent, yeah he was behind many good things but the bad things weight more than the good...

One thing I wonder is, the day that Vince dies, how will the WWE handle the news. We know how news networks and the IWC will express their ideas bla bla But what about the WWE themselves. Will they address it? Will they just give a quick “oh and by the way RIP Vince” on a random episode of Raw? Will they give him a whole episode dedicated to his life and accomplishments? I see the arguments on both sides but it’s just intriguing to think how they’ll go about addressing the death of the blacklisted Godfather of WWE

You're right about Vince. If we are strictly looking at his wrestling accomplishments, he's 100% a HOF'er. However, if we are taking into account his conduct there's no way. I feel dirty now saying the phrase "Vince McMahon WWE Hall of Famer." If Vince ever does get in, it will be 15 or 20 years after he's dead. Also I can't blame you for thinking Vince was gonna be in the HOF before all the news of the scandal broke. Everybody would have thought the same thing. I think TKO would have done that just to officially get rid of him as you said. You mentioned Cyndi Lauper, and every time, I have to say to the person saying she should be in the Hall of Fame, that she's not interested. At least you mentioned that. Most people just go on and on about how she NEEDS to be in the HOF and don't listen to what she probably wants. But yeah dude, I don't blame you for feeling that way about Vince BEFORE the scandal/ lawsuit.

Vince is just a tuff situation. Like before this scandal it seemed like he(somehow) managed to get through his life without getting completely cancelled(for lack of a better world) and that even if he didn’t want it and even if fans grew annoyed with him he was going into the hall of fame because what what he meant to the company. But this last scandals is so horrid and Vince is such a horrid human that you just can’t have him in there, and he can’t even really be mentioned in a positive manner ever again. Hell I think that punk reference is the most direct mention he’ll get on tv(as it should be)

@@thegameking3931 Well for one, Bruno Sammartino was pre-Hogan and people still remember him. He was one of the biggest draws of all time. But I do agree that Vince was responsible for two of the biggest boom periods in professional wrestling. The Hulkamania era from 1984-1993 and the Attitude era from 1997-2001. But realistically, he's not getting in anytime soon if at all b/c of all the problems surrounding him.

If Vince is going to be in the Hall; to me two circumstances MUST occur. 1. Vince MUST win this court case (if he loses; if he truly done what has been reported of him; he cannot be. If you don’t think so; or don’t know why; go read the 60 page document.) 2. Give it at least 5 years before being considered (and maybe adding a philanthropic endeavour to that; like starting a multi-million dollar organisation to victims of sexual assault would help). The only way Vince will ever be in the HOF would be if he is found innocent of all of these allegations. Let's be honest though, the chances of that happening are extremely slim. So many stories are surfacing and will probably continue to surface before all is said and done. WWE and TKO have already distanced themselves from Vince and it's extremely unlikely that will ever change. Rightly so too! It's like the Benoit situation, yes their contributions to the business and what they achieved were incredible and would have been more than HOF worthy. Sadly other situations mean that it will never happen, rightly it cannot ever happen!

I think it’s great that the hall of fame isn’t trying to hit a quota. In the NBA we see a lot of diluting of the prestige the hall holds by inducting a lot of players who were kinda… not the first people you’d think about being inducted lol. It’s always going to be debatable, and I love giving flowers to greats from the past, but there’s a difference between goats and guys/gals who were really good. Idk lol
