this is my favorite poem of yours. it felt welcoming and inspiring, but also healing. favorite lines: "If i'm hungry, i'll eat" ~something about the way you said that was so stern & empowering "I will find community in my strange tendencies, attracting the delightful odd nature of other women" "And if i'm lovesick i'll recognize it for what it is, mere limerence. And i won't get lost again" "You can fall back here, you're safe here" ~this touched my heart so deeply i cried This poem is a 2024 new years manifesto, I feel it's timeless. This poem truly encapsulates "new years" in the sense that the energy of this poem is so transitional. Spring equinox is when I recognize new years but, this poem fits any point in life that is declared as a new beginning. ♡
