That's not Andy that's Robin. The BeeGees were established in 1958 the year Andy was born. Barry was 9 and the twins were 6 when they started performing. Andy was 12 years younger than Barry and 9 years younger than the twins. They announced in early 1988 that Andy would be joining them as a permanent member but Andy died right after his 30th birthday on March 10, 1988. Heartbreaking. Check out Midnight Special with Andy Gibb singing I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. Barry and Andy were very much alike right down to identical birthmarks. Also Michael Jackson and Barry Gibb All In Your Name. It's pretty incredible that none of them could read music. The video The Making of Tragedy explains so much about their song writing process. The BeeGees have forty albums and five decades of songs every bit as great as the ones you've heard. Barry is the only living brother. He and his wife Linda were married on September 1st, 1970. Still crazy in love. He always took his family with him touring. If you love music the BeeGees rabbit hole is the best. If you love basketball or even if you don't Larry Bird is a rabbit hole you have to go down. Elvis recorded the BeeGees song Words. You should check out a BeeGees documentary. Every song they wrote that was used in the movie Saturday Night Fever was written before they ever knew anything about the movie.

Fun fact: that falsetto that you hear at the end of the song, Barry did those on the actual track and this was the song where it debuted. The hilarious part is that he didn't even know he could do it, in the 'How can you mend a broken heart' doco, he says, "i did the notes and i was like, "where the hell did that come from?"" lol

This was the song where Barry uses his famous falsetto. 1975. Barry, Maurice and Robin NOT Andy. This was before singers wore ear pieces. Singers used to cup their ears to hear themselves. They have an older sister Leslie who also can sing. She decided years ago she rather raise her family than be in the limelight. There was 4 boys and 1 girl.
