Do you not wash your rice? For someone who has grown up eating rice for 20 years, we always wash it, just about 2/3 times to make sure it's clean. You can also use the first time rice water to wash your skin :)

This video is so beautiful to watch. So chic and full of light. I must try the mango salsa and the arugula salad. I'm trying to get into salads without tomatoes (I seem to put them in everything), and this recipe could be just what I need. By the way, wait to put the flaxseed oil until your porridge is already on the plate. The heat oxidises the omega-3, so adding it together with the ground flaxseeds at the end might be a better idea.

I tend to cook/bake with coconut oil...I find that it adds this underlying sweetness to whatever I make. My favorite is some baked zucchini, using coconut oil, dash of pepper and salt, and just a bit of cajun. It has this blend of savory yet an underlying taste of sweetness to it.

Rachel, i went to the nutritionist the last week and he told me that olive oil is really good when you use it in salads, but when you use it for cooking something chemistry related happens making the structure change, you should read or look online im not sure because i was a really olive oil fanatic! kisses from Colombia

Just a tip.. agave is actually extremely high in fructose which can cause insulin resistance and earth balance is made up of oils such as canola and soy which are likely gmo and very inflammatory.

I just heard agave actually does spike your blood sugar more then honey does and that honey is the best choice for sweetener! just thought you might want to know :)
@cupcake7029 жыл бұрын
Actually, agave does not spike your blood sugar as much as honey. Although agave is very high in fructose which is damaging to the liver
@cupcake7029 жыл бұрын
But yes I would agree with you that honey is a more natural alternative ! Agave is extremely processed
@MrsSONJO7 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking, I did more research on agave and the fructose is SUPER high.
