This may sound awful but you can actually send sick patient as scouts and make space for the medic tent. I do this only on extreme difficulty.

@@cherim9737 thanks to @logistical I'm now playing this almost every month. Using overcrowding instead of extra rations. And using snow pit instead of cemetery, so organ transplant has been very effective to get the sick healing quick.

The weird thing about Overcrowding is that sick/injured people will still go into a medical tent or infirmary that is already “full” giving you the discontent…even if there’s an empty medical tent RIGHT NEXT DOOR. Like bro you are CHOOSING to sleep on the floor, you have no reason to be pissed at me for this lol. There’s empty beds right in the next tent.

My favorite thing that helped me out and i didnt know this until some random youtube video is you can send one outpost team to build outpost, then after you send the resources you dismantle the outpost and send and build the next one, send the recourses and go back to the previous location.

Every time i plan to go Order path i pick Overcrowding, since Infirmarys cost steam cores, so buiding a lot of then is costly. In Faith path though, i like Extra Rations since i can just trow 10 houses of healing arownd, and then make then work as fast as a infirmary.

I do sustain life and extra rations for the ill ..... I usually play good guy never sign extended shifts emergency shifts or child labor i usually use the children as apprentices to speed up research making the overall expansion of the city and improvements of homes and food gathering techniques better (almost never use the hunters huts)
