Pea is definitely my all-time favorite. What's yours!?

What is the nutritional benefit in peas. Broccoli has nutritional properties in eliminating cancer cells

Peas for sure. High yield, low mold, can take the heat and skip a watering, great shelf life.... I could go on

It's pea for me too! I don't tend to think of vegetables as delicacies but pea shoots are an exception for sure. Try them with a hot honey mustard and bacon dressing.

I'm exploring this as a business opportunity. I have like 15+ years experience growing, with Hydroponics and managed a hydro store for years here in LA. I'm planning on starting with Broccoli, Speckled Peas, Radish (China Rose) and a Spicy Salad mix, possibly adding in Sunflower later. Just harvested my first batch of Broccoli, 4 trays, they looked and tasted great. Next, going to be growing Peas and Radish, than I'll try the salad mix. Just going through the process and getting familiar with it before I expand. Working on my packaging right now. Seems like educating people about the product is going to be a big part of selling it. Some of your videos are what got me looking into it so Thank You for that.

Dr Rhonda Patrick has done a lot of research in the area. I would do some google searching. Says different things in different places. A lot of the living foods books talk about it too!

I have 2 comments/question. I just started and I'm 6 days in. I have not seen you use the moisture packets in your packing trays if you use them can you send a link on where you purchase them. NOW my favorite microgreens so far are China Rose Radish!

Hey Donny, I've been watching alot of your videos and learning as much as possible about microgreens. The idea of turning this into a Direct to consumer small business has gotten me on a microgreen movement. Currently I'm stuck on the legalities of selling food in my state as a small business with the food(microgreens) being grown in a residential space. I live in Maryland and we have a Cottage Home Food Business act but this does not encompass Vegetables or food that expires of any kind being grown and sold from a residential space. There are also a list of Processing and Selling Value Added Food Products In Maryland from the Maryland Department of Agriculture which encompasses all the licensing and requirements per each food category. Getting to Uncut and Unprocessed vegetables it states No license required from MDH or local health department. Over $26,999 in annual sales regulated by MDA. Could you speak to this concern and possibly clear up my confusion on residentially grown microgreens(uncut un processed) into a small direct to consumer business based on these statements?

Hey Donny, so I just wanna say I am extremely close to pulling the trigger on supplies, but I had the thought to hold off so that I can create an LLC and make the expenses part of a tax business write off, this is the only vidoe you have yet to make and I was wondering if you could explain better the process of actually creating a business that can legally make a profit

im making a course to come out this year. you dont need an llc by the way. sole proprietorship works for tax benefit too

Bathua seed is free in my backyard from mid November through January. It remains viable for 20 years. Can be a little slow to sprout though, I admit. It's really really good. It likes worm castings and "forest floor" soil I gather from beneath the leaves. I really like not spending any money at all. Lord Goosefoot knows no equal.
