Started the same day as u did LOL. I had blender installed to learn it almost exactly a year ago, I planned to learn something and 3d print it for my gf (ex now). I forgot about it until today, it was suppose to be our 1 year anniversary. Sad but I got into blender and already making cool stuff. Didn't finish the donut tutorial yet, but I'm making other stuff. If you want I can edit in a gyazo pic link of the current stuff I'm making

@@boppled im gonna tell you a secret, lot of professional artist didn't make they own asset!!,sometimes they(me too) just pick the asset on internet when making some project, like if we need some sofa or anything,to save time,we only making our own asset when the client want specified look for the asset and you can't find it on internet, but of course you need to know how to make the asset first before you can pick it on internet, like if you want to use asset from internet like sofa for example, you need to know how to make that sofa first,so its okay if you want to use asset from internet

I have just 'finished' the face and I'm now working on the body. They are kinda long, but definitely worth it. He doesn't ramble either, just teaches you. Hope this is helpful to you :D

Great work! I just started this week and I was surprised by how easy it actually is. Don't get me wrong, it's still a lot of hard work and there are a lot of things withing Blender that I don't understand or even know about, but still... within no time I was able to grasp the very basics and able to create. Such a powerful program.

Take time to relax and do other things... but if you want to force yourself to practice like in school then you can also do that too! Hold on to a list of projects you want to make so you wont run out of ideas. Happy Blending everyone 😄😄😄

Good job on getting all the poses for Geri's Game, sure it wasn't a full animation but the experience was valuable nonetheless. I learned pretty quickly that I'm not really one for animation beyond some simple things, I just don't have the patience and see it more as work more than anything. Instead, I've decided to focus on producing quality models and environmental art. Great job Boppled, keep it up :)

Blender is so intimidating when you open it for the first time and then you give donut a go if you stick to it for a month do one independent project then its only 3 variables 1. Imagination 2. Time 3. System requirements for rendering (this one can really suck)
