In 1968 I took this same trip and MORE on a Triumph TC-500 Motorcycle. From the old abandoned temples of the Mayas in the jungles of Yucatan to the Olympic Games in Mexico City to the Mexican Grand Prix, to Playboy type clubs in the mountains of Nicaragua, to Rebel Military camps in the jungles of Guatemala, over barely passable dirt roads and mountain passes in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Costra Rica down the the Locks in the Panama Canal. And, I lived to tell the stories!

I had an 95 4Runner, and now have an 06, That 95 had the smoothest ride you could ask for. Loved that vehicle. This guy is talented. The combination of different woods and his skills are really nice. He must be great at his job. I'd love to have a talent like that.

What an awesome build! That table on the tire is such a great idea; I love how it slides under the drawer system. Also, the slide out drying section on roof rack is clever. - Super well thought out build. 👏 Hello from Canada. 🇨🇦

This build inspired me so much! I was wondering how you mounted the rooftop carrier onto the cargo rack, as well as the slide out feature.. did you make the slide out yourself? Looking to use the same concept on a Nissan Rogue, would love any tips/ideas from your experience, thanks :)

I need that box set up. But I have a shock mounts 8" through the rear. If you give me a email address I'll email pictures.

How many miles did that thing have when you were travelin? Why did you sell it? thinking about traveling in my 87 4 runner. anything you regret? anything to be aware of? I wanted to travel in the 4 runner rather than a van just cause it seems a bit more capable. Sick Videos and Dope 4 Runner
@SolidWoodWorx6 жыл бұрын
It had around 260k when I left for the trip I believe. I sold it because I want to build out a van. I wish I would of had more room like a van does since it had rained a decent amount. But yeah was rad having a truck capable of going amywhere!
