My 41st Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino in HD (SOLD!)

(Update: SOLD!) This Gem is a 1976 Gran Torino Brougham. It has a mere 76,000 miles on the car. It sat in a garage for decades in southern california with a stuck valve. That saved the car from increasing it's miles. I gave it an upper end engine rebuild. it runs great and drives great. It drives straight, doesn't pull, rattle or shake. It has working air but at this time, the fan switch needs replacing to use the air.
This car has zero rust! A very straight body, very nice glass. I put new highjacker airshocks on it. It has the perfect muscle car stance with vintage slot mags on it. The rear are 15 x 8.5" and the fronts are 14 x 7.5". Brand new hankook rear tires. The deluxe bumpers are in great shape, nice chrome with no peeling. It also has the deluxe light package with the same deluxe dome light with map lights just like the TV show car.
Other options include AM/FM Stereo Radio, Dual remote sport bullet mirrors.
The price is $18,500.

I passed on several 73s though because I can't use them. They didn't make many to start with, then so many were crushed in the 90s & 2000s. Finding a clean, rust free driver is getting really, really hard. I don't know if I will make it to owning 50 torinos before I retire.

Would be interesting to see one with the pilot show striping. It was shorter, going forward, more narrow over the top and not as wide on the sides. I’ve never seen a tribute car in that format. If I ever had one made I’d want the pilot show set up so it would be “unique”. As for this stripe, it’s DEAD on! Most don’t get it right.
