💯💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏 thanks bro Honestly if you tune right, and have the right supported mods you shouldn’t have a check engine light. However the transition from stock to stage 1 is mesmerizing, and can’t be matched with going to stage 2 or 3. I would say stage one can. Have you beat . Infinity G37, hemi dodge and Chrysler. 4.6 v8 mustangs, Nissan 350 z, just to kind of give you an idea we’re the power level is at. Also it would be fun spirited driving 💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏

It’s sounds like a boost leak, if you had codes I would think the cam shaft censor Throttle body Or intake manifold runner flaps What are you using to scan it, some scan tools don’t go in debt

Just installed the S3 injectors and I can believe the difference!!! Really pulls like a train ! Our engines are pretty close to identical now. I also intsalled coil overs, 034 sway bars, solid transmission insert & adjustable 034 upper control arms. Raised the car slightly to get better suspension geometry to avoid negative camber wear on the tires. My next and final project is installing RS front and rear bumper covers.

Ordered my CTS intercooler for my 2012 B8 last week, I have the CTS k04 turbo ready to be installed, the CTS intake is in my living room, once the intercooler arrives I’ll order a catted down pipe from Uro tuning. Just need to add the stage 2 tune, then I’ll be ready to rock!

b8.5 has an aluminum intake manifold vs the plastic black one, also b8.5 have head lights like the one you see on my car, I just retro fitted mil, before it was the traditional led head light like the first gen Audi R8, also b8.5 has a round center on the steering wheel

Hey thanks for reaching out and asking a great question.I’m still stock internals, although I have an built engine with forged rods and pistons, ported. I’ve had it for 1 an 1/2 years now. Thinking that my current engine would blow but guess we have a strong platform. 😂🤣😂 2 tuners said 450 is the threshold on stock, and one said 400 before you start having problems, but as you can see I’m still going strong, I think maybe because apr has the safest tune, and torque management. I’m not in a rush to put it in , because it’s just stronger internals, and no power gain, at least not much from it being ported, I’ll probably slap a 85 mm on it before I install it💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 If you go to this video at 3:44 you can have a view of my engine health timing etc...... kzbin.info/www/bejne/j3SUh5yMf5d3rK8 I have had the car for 5 years, and started my first mod revo stage 1 in 2015

My brother crazy how we have such similar yet different builds lol! I have a 2012 B8 A5 with the APR K04 turbo Performance by IE intake, downpipe, intercooler, and tune and a AWE quad exhaust. Also have the same Audi R8 coil packs and Spark plugs. I've been disappointed in my power. Only about 350-375 hp. I can't install a water meth kit or 100 octane since this is my only car and my daily lol

Nice set up. I have the same vehicle but UK Sportback version A5 B8.5 facelift. I have added numerous mods, main one being the CTS K04 turbo (same as APR's) as well as APR carbonio intake, Airtec intercooler, K04 Bosch injectors capable of between 300-500HP, upgraded internals on HPFP, Scorpion aftermarket resonated exhaust. decat downpipe, Gofastbits diverter valve and turbo muffler delete. Tuned to 354BHP on the Dyno. To point out the HP figures you have quoted don't seem to add up in my opinion. K04 turbo with 98 RON according to APR gives you max 348HP including the necessary mods for your A5 B8. I appreciate the added Meth injection kit provides an additional 20% power.

First and foremost amazing build, hats off 💪💪💪 to be honest your numbers seem low for what you have , apr gets you about 360 bhp , and 380hp with out all of the mods you have, it boils down to what tune you’re running, and also the mixture of the meth, for example I’m running 100% meth now which makes a significant difference, than 50/50 blend , my meth gave me a legit 53 hp, prior to the meth I was around 400bhp which is not to shy from the number that you’re speaking, keep in mind my numbers are from 100 octane, with race gas. I also run boostane , and race gas if I’m out of boostane. And I believe your 98 is equivalent to us 93. I have a friend with your set up with out meth at 397 bhp And 100 oct or 104 depending on the country makes a big difference . What tune are you running 🤔💯💯💯💪💪💪

Hi Bruce, sorry my bad I've not check this post in ages! The tune was done by Mallory performance in Leicestershire, England. Not APR or Revo as far as I know. Honestly I didn't know about the octane equivalents in the UK and US. So If I'm running 93 octane US (99 RON UK) I'm sure I can run close to 400bhp on US 100+ octane with an an appropriate tune.

I have a B8 A4 Stage 3 w/ IE tune. The only thing I'm really missing that your car has is the meth. I know meth makes a difference but how are you making 455hp. I think IE says CRANK hp is like 344 on 93 Octane. Does meth give you 100 more hp? What am i missing???

You bro much respect to your build I actually ordered the same tune just have not put it in yet was going to do a comparison between ie, revo, and apr running apr 100 octane map , and boostane or racing fuel-which is about 373 of the bat, and with the s3 injectors and racing inter cooler, oem r8 coils, etc it puts me around 400, and the water meth gives me a legit 50 to 60hp, I honestly can’t believe the power it gave me, I am running 100 meth also. 💪💪💪💪💪💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@IcyEdits yeh the s3/golf r injectors gave me a good 20hp, I run a 100 octane race map which requires 100 octane fuel, so I generally will order race full which is about a 103 octane, but if I run out or save some money, I buy octane booster to keep my octane high so I won’t run lean, or have pre detonation issues, I generally use boostane, I am tuned with apr, I’m able to switch maps from stock, 89 octane 91 octane 93 octane and 100 octane, at any point

I dont think IE has a different tune for that? Also, are there other options besides S3 injectors or do you think they are the best?

Do you know an estimate of how much hp a 2.0 has with a stage 2 ? I’ve been thinking of switching from Mercedes’ to Audi . I also wanna know if I should be worried about putting more hp on a smaller engine , I hear it can put more stress onto the engine and does it cause more oil consumption ? I was thinking of a 3.0 but like you said it’s a lot easier easier to fix with the 2.0 cus with the 3.0 you basically have to take out the engine for everything . What are your thoughts ? Brondon D no it shouldn’t be an issue, also the way the awd. Works is it adjust , and gives the torque needed to what ever wheel needs support, most people run staggered set ups, and as you can see it’s not effecting me, I’m a inch wider on the back also

Tire diameter is the only thing that matters. Keep it exact, or +/- 2% of tire diamter to not affect the drive system

Xander thanks man, definitely quicker, than an s5 which is 350 hp, and I’ve beaten old b8 rs5 twice, they lack button end to keep up, keep in mind they were stock, the enemy is the weight , of how heavy the engine is. Which is why the b9 rs5 went to a 2.9 twin turbo, with 2 k03’s I won one race and lost one, but he had exhaust, and I think was chipped.

I can feel the resonance when I am trying to slow down and RPM around 1500, it sounds like Quattro rumble, But I know it’s not, I don’t have resonance at U-turn. It just sounds like that.
