Meat eaters tend to get their protein from one main source in a big amount in fewer servings, whereas plant based eaters get it from multiple sources in smaller amounts, frequently throughout the day. It's like how some people prefer to workout for a several hours a couple days a week, and others like to do a little bit every day. Both people are exercising for the same amount of time, but some break it up into smaller chunks throughout the week, instead of all at once.

I'm right about Mom's age. I do snack on popcorn every day, lol. No salt and no butter, just plain.
