You and Cami need to turn into fish whisperers! I fished one tourney in my life and had a blast on the Niagra River. Pre college. I did quite well. I have also spent most of my life as a fisheries biologist studying smallmouth under the water, and all aspects of their life! I used Satellites and all kinds of tracking methods to get data on them. You need to get under the water with them and study your quarry the largmouth's behaviors with someone throwing an assortment of lures at them. One can use new technologies to video these situations but nothing will beat your own eyes, ears, and sensitivity to temperatures in the water. It is very cool to hear what lures sound like under water and then to watch what triggers a strike response and hear what a rattle trap and a certain cadence sounds like that caused that strike response right in front of you! Even better, feeding them out of your hand after they have acclimated to you. Most importantly you will 100% know where they are, what size they and what structure they are hanging out at! If they are sitting on the edge of a cold or warm seep. Maybe hanging out on a thermocline at a specific depth. O2 sensor readings are paramount for you and your lake fishing efforts. No oxygen means very little action there. Good luck, have fun, and keep on catchin!

Tourney fishing for bass is mostly nether region kicks over and over and over...lol. then suddenly BAM a good tourney happens. I tried it myself but holy cow it's expensive. If ya don't have a big bank acct or some very fine sponsors its almost impossible for the average man to do it.

Having fished Eufaula so much over the years, it’s feast or famine. It’s not the Eufaula of old when Denny was catching 25lbs on a jig, but it still can be good. The hydrilla days were amazing in the mouth of Cowikee. I don’t care what a lot of these others say, I’m loving this tournament content!

I caught 2 six pounders off that same bridge in practice day before the tournament (tried to shake them off but they stayed hooked) in less than 10 min. They were stacked!! Left the spot and went there on tournament day and the fish were all gone. The fish on that lake move so much.
