ADHD decision making can be so overwhelming. Same with setting goals and finding the motivation to follow through. It's just hard!
So why do people with ADHD struggle with decision making, goal setting and staying motivated? That's what we're covering in todays video where I take you behind the scenes of my business and share some of my own personal struggles and how I address them.
Let's do this!

You've mentioned before that you MUST exercise in the AM and that it really helps your ADHD brain. Do you think you'll do a video on this sometime? I'd love to hear how to motivate an ADHD'er to workout consistently because I hate it but I know its so beneficial and I need to do it, but it just feels like a uncomfortable demand and I avoid it like the plague.. When my PMS really compounds my ADHD symptoms (when estrogen dips) I kick myself for not working out alllllll month as I KNOW it could have curbed some of the "PMS pit" I find myself in. :( Any tips? So thankful for your channel!

Hey there, I don't like working out either, but I do it because I love the feeling of having had worked out. You know? If you're feeling a lot of resistance, it might be the kind of workouts you're limiting yourself to. Why not start with something simple like going for a walk? It's also helpful to save your favorite podcasts for walks only.

One thing I"ve been wondering about. I wonder what you would have to say. Imagine a bunch of ADHD people who don't know about ADHD, but they know each other, somehow all their lives not encountering any non-ADHD. They live their lives as "normal". Then one fine day a what we call neurotypical person comes along - how is that person seen by this bunch? What talents, advantages, disadvantages, oddities, "disorders" or other difference would the ADHD folk find in this strange visitor?

LOL... great question! I can tell who of my friends are neurotypical based on the way they do things and the way they execute on their thoughts.

Thank you so much for your videos. I have really thought for a long time that my ADHD was out of control, but I ignored my feelings and continued down a horrible road of bad decisions, oversharing with others and job fails (all within the last few years!) I also have Parkinson's, which definitely creates a double whammy! But...I push through and hope I will eventually find what I am good at and what I love to do!

I'm so glad I found your channel. Most of your videos are so relatable and I really look forward to them. I'm working on starting a business and right now I've only been working on the fun side of it. The idea of getting going on the "business" side of it has been monumentally hard for me (It sounds so boring) but I'm hoping with some of the information you've provided that maybe it will help me sit down and get serious and start the process. Thank you for being an inspiration!

This is great info! Everything, or at least 90% of it, makes perfect sense to me. Especially good is your practical advice. I've heard of ADHD (or ADD or whatever is the term of the decade) but didn't really think of it as relevent to my everyday life. There was the farmers/buccaneers notion in Wilson Harrell's book on being and entrepreneur. This was a retelling of Thom Hartmann's work. Then I encountered Barbara Sher, with her description of "Scanners" and her book "Refuse to Choose" - though I don't think she connected any of it to ADHD. But it wasn't until I found Rick Green's videos here on YT. Yegads, he could be my twin brother! I think you could be my twin sister! Very helpful with tips and tricks and ways to outsmart my silly brain. Theming the day (in another of your videos) is a great idea. I sort of have been doing that, in a way, but not really making it a thing. I had thought of designating the morning for something, the afternoon for something, and the evening for something, and maybe the three somethings could be two or one thing if I feel like I"m on a roll. But too often half the day gets blown away with simple mundane errands, yard work, etc.

Where have you been all my life?? 😂 I stumbled across your channel while searching for Adhd “tips” and wow have you opened my mind to so many things about myself that I never linked to my adhd before. I’ve always struggled with my indecisiveness (amongst a million other things). I’ve been binge watching your videos since finding you ❤

I need to learn how to work with procrastinators and people who make things urgent because they've thought of them last-minute. Unfortunately, I keep ending up working with these people and it throws me off every time 😭 I need to spend that time on my own goals and not on fighting fires.

Hei, i think you are a great human being and your efforts are good and productive. What i wanted to tell you is the fact that i ve been following you for the last year and a half and took a lot from your lessons & videos! Thank you for that! Today i felt like letting go, so unfollowing and I wanted to let you know that. Your content seems proffessional, but what i see is that it is revolving around the same topics and there‘s not that much new to be learned. It‘s just the way that you express yourself that is different, and that too can be super nice😊 But it seems to me at times like you‘re doing content only for the sake of doing content. I would recommend you post content more seldom, but with more intention and some sense of novelty of information (if you can add such things in this topic: ADD, because that is also pretty tricky, but I am sure you can find ways to furnish newly-discovered pieces of information). And if you do that, let me know. I‘d love to see the progress and celebrate it. My take on that😄🎉🎉

Congrats! Curious how long it took you to hit that passive income? And do attribute YT as the key source of traffic? I also want to generate more PI (currently running agency) and fear that this isn’t a viable income source. Btw love your t-shirt and hair (fave flattering style)
