We’re all probably artsy fartsy but because of so many things that need to be done around us is what keeps us from doing our passions, dreams, desires. The mundane things suck the energy out of us, drain our souls.

If you haven’t had that yoke moment with Yoga, switch to Hot Yoga, specifically Bikram. You cannot think about anything else, you’ll just be trying to stay alive! 😂😂😂🔥

I’m completely capable and have completed many projects “above and beyond” expectations… the problem is that as soon as I’m finished with one project (that usually involves learning and implementing of new skills)… I get bored and need a new project (possibly requiring a whole new team), -where’s others are still wondering how I got the first project done so well and so fast and why I don’t make a career out of it … they look at me with awe and can’t keep up, and this makes me impatient and just wanting to walk away from “stupid” people… but I’m not arrogant and instead feel guilty for my “gifts”… then I just end up frustrated and bored and end up doing absolutely nothing for as long as I can… a state of painful boredom and loneliness basically… or just chilling and daydreaming… Until the next “aha !” moment happens, and I get super interested and engaged once more

I agree with what you had said about not being afraid of doing something that you love to do imperfectly until you get it right. I had experienced shutting down mentally due to the person training me to do a task at my new assignment is very impatient and take it out on me or if the trainer did not properly trained me or show me how to do the task.

I was hoping this video would address how to do things that you ARE interested in and yet still can't make yourself do. I want to better my singing voice and learn to be a songwriter, but doing the daily work of showing up to improve those skills is dull and so overwhelming it paralyses me in inaction, so matter how small I make the task (2m, 5m, 10m etc).

I cannot imagine telling my asian parents this. "You are always lazy and energetic in school how can you be tired?" No hate on them! They are uneducated on ADHD, so I really don't blame them.

The fewer choices you make. Not less. Less is for items that cannot be individually counted. Fewer is for items that can be individually counted. Such as choices. Less water, if you were bottles. Less money, fewer dollars. Peace, love, and why do I love grammar so much?

I feel this SO hard! I left a job about 7 months ago that was stressing me out very badly...reflecting on it (and what I am sure NOT to do every single day in my current job) I put a LOT of expectations on myself that were unnecessary... I've found I can do less and still be highly effective. I also try harder to find people who are more well versed in things I'm unfamiliar with & leverage their expertise to my advantage so I can stress less.

I have all these interests I have developed. I have electronics, video gaming, table top gaming, a home gym and music. I also have a demanding job that during seasons I go non stop while balancing relationship and family. I can't do it all. But I see these interests as bringing depth into my life. When will I get back to repairing my computer? When will I be able to play a board game? When will I get a day off? The truth is I've made some progress in all of these interests. And in an otherwise boring life I have created variety. So it's ok.

I had just started a car porter job last week. The company is an affiliate to General Motors. My duties is to drive different cars to different lots around a two to three mile radius or retrieve the cars and bring them back to the main facility. Sometimes driving big vans and Hummers. The driver of the shuttle that takes us to these different lot is a very abrasive, impatient, condescending person who is also the lead porter. He was impatient with me for on my second day he wanted me to take a car to a lot inside this huge complex. I couldn't remember where the lot was. He make the job difficult eventhough he only been employed there for 10 months himself. Through this video I found out I don't like to wait for my instructions giving to me early in the morning. Don't that for 35 years before retiring from my former job two years ago. I finding out that this job is really not what I want to do

I don’t agree with your view on “spending years and years in therapy”. That should never be looked at in a negative way and often “quick fixes” are just that. They are less likely to last because of how quickly they were implemented.

I gotta recommend Brili for routines, it's really convenient. When I wake up, I just press play and it walks me through my morning routine (meds, bathroom, teeth...) You can also skip any parts you don't have time for or push one part for later (if the bathroom is occupied for example) and it's soooo easy to use it, even on hard days

Great stuff, but as a creative, AI = instant negative thought spiral. It's hard to watch your content when you're recommending something that's actively being used to steal from creatives, a large percent of whom are ND. Could you please avoid encouraging the use of something many of us see as a dehumanizing product built on stolen material?
