I was listening to a podcast that said, “it’s important to live life by design rather than emotion. Basically, sticking to a routine is what allows us to be the healthiest version of ourselves (especially when you're fighting these demons ex. OCD for me). I made the most healthy+lasting changes in my life when I began practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 40-60% effort into my habits (ex. journaling/working out) - to make sure I do it I began recording it and posting it on my youtube channel. That also helped with cultivating community. I really appreciate your videos and your vulnerability with your struggles. I’ve realized in the last few years that people may get mental health is a thing but they dont understand how ‘ugly’ it can really get at its worse. PLUS how hard it is to try to get better, its a hard battle and so much of it falls on our shoulders. I don’t have the best relationship with my family either so its adds another layer of hard. In that channels like your are such a source of comfort. Thank you

Right, isn't it super odd? Apparently it's a symptom of autism. I'm getting tested for autism soon.
