Thank you so much for sharing your story. I was born in 1964 and found my birth parents married to each other and two full siblings. They had married two years after I was born. I started crying watching your reunion as it took me back 38 years ago when I met all of my Italian family who lived in Ontario. I live in Alberta. My two father's have since became best friends

Your Romanian Family seems so nice....Your sisters look so much like you. Congratulations for having found your birth family. Your birth parents seem so humble and true. They might have given you up at birth because you had a medical condition that they couldn't afford....but they did a real great job raising they other children up nicely. Because they loved you they given you up....giving you a chance to be treated and operated. Enjoy them !

Such an amazing story! I have a similar story myself! I just found my biological family a month ago 💜 As someone who was adopted, I know how hard it is to find someone else to relate to you! It is almost impossible and it can be lonely at times, but thank you for sharing your story! The more people who share the less others will feel alone! 💜

We should start a support group page on Facebook or something for people who have been adopted. There's so much trauma that goes along with it, from people not knowing how to react and saying off things, to being subtly encouraged not to look for your bio family out of "protection" cuz "what if you do find them and they don't want you or contact?" And many other scenarios, like not feeling welcome or like you're fitting in with your adopted family because they're all similar and you're different. It's literally a common joke for siblings to tell each other they're adopted which in my opinion is kinda shitty. As if we're less or bring less to the family because we are different. And oh how rare it is to find someone who has a similar enough story to relate to. I knew of one other adopted kid at my elementary school but we were different grades and they weren't even the person to tell me, and I never met them in person. She was adopted from out of the states so our stories were much different anyways. Any other time I met someone who was adopted it was because their parents had separated and a step parent had adopted them. How cool would it be if we made a community where adopted people can come together and express their thoughts and emotions with the struggles/blessings adoption can bring. Its not all bad, I wouldve never met my adopted dad and we were inseparable. He was my rock. I can not imagine life without him. Yet I wouldn't have had that if I hadn't been adopted. I also avoided alot of hell that my biological family went through so I was one of the lucky ones, everything turned out perfect for us in the end but someone's gotta be there for the people who it doesn't, because chances are nobody in their life can relate and fully understand.

They have reached out to me on Facebook as well. I have 3 adult children I did not place also, and I carry so much quilt and pain because of my past, that I am scared that they won't want me in their lives once they meet me. Will you pray for me and all six of my children to be able to reunit with love and happiness, without punishing me for my past. I was adopted as well. I never was able to find my biological family, as I had a closed adoption. In Florida, the agency that my adoptive parents used wanted me to pay 1k to start looking for my biological family. Even though I now only want to find them for medical history as I have severe chronic illnesses. I’m so glad you found yours. I love your videos. It seems we have a LOT in common. 💜

I'm glad to hear we have so much in common. I had a closed adoption as well. I was given paperwork with my birth family's information on it. That's how I was able to start looking for my family. It took years, but it finally worked. :D

Vin Vlogger I was adopted in the mid 70’s. Closed adoptions back then were just that, closed. I have very little information on my birth family. I know I had 3 older brothers. My parents were going through a separation and were both professors. That’s it. I’m glad you found your family. I was also premature at birth. I was born at 27 weeks, weighed less than 2 pounds at birth. Was told I wouldn’t survive. I’m here 💜 God has a plan for us all.

Hey, Lavinia! I just watched your story and from the second you pronounced your name... I thought... This is a Romanian name... And then.. The mistery was solved... I m also from Romania and l empathise a lot with you... Because l know what /how it was back then over there (now l live in Spain) and because of the poverty and bad conditions lot of people had to give up their children for adoption, or abandoned them... You can consider yourself very lucky and l want to THANK A LOT to your adoptive parents, that they rise you and giving a better life!!! And that you had the courage to share and open your soul! I also didn’t walk until I was about two years old. Eventually, I was reunited with my biological family, but continued to visit my cousins every weekend. They are like second parents to me to this day. ❤

I was adopted in the US from the US. MY adopted family never told me I was adopted. I found out when I was grown. My adopted family doesn’t want anything to know about my bio family and vice versa. You are blessed. I never felt loved. My bio father family won’t accept me. I am 55. You are loved and wanted. I am grateful You got to experience that.

Just beautiful, wonderful, exciting & courageous. I am so happy for you. I loved seeing your journey & meeting your birth family. Such a beautiful outcome for all of you. My Dad's family lived in what was Romania in the 1800s. I watched a TV special showing the horrible conditions in the orphanages that was about the time you were there. I sobbed & sobbed to think that could have been me. I really identified with you. My sibling found out he was adopted when he was SIXTY. The rest of our family also found out at same time. We had no idea so it was much harder for us all. His birth Mom & Dad had passed away years before we found out. He has no desire to tell his 1/2 sisters & brothers. Its a beautiful story and I am so happy that your adoptive mother was supportive in your search of your biological family! I am not adopted but I love seeing films or stories of family reunions whether they are adopted children meeting for the first time or regular family reunions. My question is now that you have found them have you considered doing a family tree with all the new family members. Or is that something that does not interest you! Just curious! Cannot imagine the journ🎉ey I too was adopted but remained within my family I was adopted by my biological maternal grand parents however was not told about being adopted until My birth father passed away when I was 9 and this 2nd wife showed up @ my parents (grandparents) house w/ two little girl's in tow ... and an entire story opened up ... I was raised knowing My birth mother as my 2nd oldest sibling and then was told I had 1 full sister (also) adopted by a family member w/ 2 - 1/2 sister's and 2-1/2 brother's So I'm the oldest of 6. I signed my own adoption papers in 1974 @ the age of 10 and was told I was the very 1st adoptee to do so in the state of Florida. Very different from your journey but unique non the less an amazing journey. So excited you were able to fulfill the journey GOD Bless You ❤

and so I don’t have a long comments like everyone else but it is so good that you have found your birth family and your birth mother and I am trying to find my birth family and birth grandparents and birth mother and birth father too and maybe it would be so good if there is some thing you could think of that I could do that and meet my birth family and birth mother I know my birth mother name only and some other things like age and last name and and birth grandpfather name and last name
