Summary: • Addon: HandyNotes (TWW edition) • War Mode: Start with it; turn it off if you have a bad experience (grab the war supply crate when available). • Profession: Pick it up early; it can be very lucrative in the beginning. • Leveling: Focus on the campaign/quests on your main character. • Dungeon: You can start queuing at level 71; it’s recommended to do this on your alt to reach 80 quickly. • Early Gear: Battlegrounds + World Quests + War Supply Crate (at least 535 ilvl is recommended as it scales to 600 ilvl in BGs). • Gear Progression: Algari Gear > Honor Gear > World PvP Gear. • Tips: Keep your PvP trinket; buy the “Vicious Flask of Honor” (it increases your honor gain by 15%); explore the entire map to unlock old flying (better for gathering).

Heads up - All profession mats drop from the caches and bags on the ground, and I think from the farming event boxes too, so you can get mats that aren't part of your profession that way.

Heres real advice: do ONLY the main quests on your first character and all the others you make get to skip it. Dungeon spam levels you SO fast, what you really need to do around 75/76 is que for low level BG's. If you have old pvp gear you're going to feel real good, otherwise you do get somewhat fairly scaled as long as you don't have like 200 ilvl... and farm honor BEFORE hitting 80. I have never had a worse experience than playing a half geared character in a war within battleground. Healers do no healing dps do no damage and you get legitimately onetapped by AOE spells. You will NOT have fun. At least you have some control over your gameplay in low level bg's. TLDR: Please please farm your honor before hitting 80. Start doing bg's around 75/76.

a low level stomp high level the scaling is kinda strange maybe you have not noticed yet but if you are doing a dungeon with low level vs a high level the low level will stomp the mobs they even can tank the bosses and wipe the floor with those bosses

It saddens me that a video like this needs to be made, ive said it many times before and i'll say it again. Content creation has always killed wow and it is still killing wow to this day. All of those videos on youtube with big header thumbnails going "10 must have items! do this before you hit max lvl! make sure to get this before next week! this is how you optimize xyz farm! if you don't do this you'll fall behind! do these 5 things to not fall behind!" "make sure to download this addon! 5 MUST HAVE addons for wow! if you don't use these addons and macros you're trolling and stupid!!!!" it's soul-draining and these content creators know what they're doing, it sends viewers down a path of hyper-optimizing their gameplay and leeching all the fun out of the game and the casual experience of wow, it takes advantage of every persons inherent fear of missing out. If content creation and streamers didn't exist wow would be significantly more enjoyable for the majority of the playerbase. Oh well, one can dream.

Warrior or not it all just follows the same track, get weapons, then the big stat pieces (they've made it easy to recognize-prioritize 875 pieces over 700 pieces) then lastly jewelry. Get your trinkets rly early on for the bonus

Bgs will automatically raise your item level to a certain point. However gear will matter to be above that. But you won't feel too terribly behind if you come late

Early access player here. If you have standard edition you are missing out on nothing. All we could do was level and get some gear equal to heroic dungeon gear. Thats it. Weekly events etc were all locked so its all cool! 😊
