She has told my story, from thinking that i found love in a married man bcz they have introduced you to family and friends, to very wrong financial decisions , to shame so unbearable that i resigned from work in August of 2022 to finding Christ at my lowest point, by His grace he carried and continues to carry me. The last year has been therapy for me, my family and mostly my dear Mom have been the MVP. Pursuing my relationship with Jesus has been my firmest foundation. I have picked up so many lessons as well, I am not a victim, I made mistakes and owing up is part of the healing and reformation journey. Most of all i am worthy in Christ, doesn't matter what current circumstances tell, all things will work out for good as long as you are intentional with breaking out. This has really spoken to me. Thank you Lynn for being God led to air this episode. Thank you Wanjeri for speaking out! It is a testimony, and your testimony will impact many to know they too shall overcome!

My take home today on the conversation. 1. Stop seeking validation from people always accept whom you are. 2. We learn through mistakes no one is perfect and always own our stories. 3. Be intention on what we want and go for it. 4. Shame and fear is the biggest enemy and killer always seek help. 5.Always have someone who as a good intention with you may it be a parent, a relative or a friend. 6. Be kind to people and finally lean into God's power.

The dad is the definition of an intentional parent, we can't imagine he had it easy he probably still carries that pain within him but when it came down to it, he always knew when to step in something that is rare to find. He didn't the world ensare his child despite the turmoil she took him through. I am glad she also acknowledges that she was not a victim, she was just paying for her bad decisions, that is important, realizing we are not always victims. From the most sacred place, I wish her a more intentional and fulfilling life.

Hey Lynn! It's great to see you on that couch. Thanks for choosing to bring Angeline on the show because I think her story/life experience is speaking to many young people here in Kenya and beyond. Angeline is a heroine and she has overcome a tough phase in her life, learnt to pray and has Christ in her life as Lord and Savior. I don't think it matters if she graduated or not because she's OBVIOUSLY more eloquent than most "graduates" I know. From the way she speaks the English language, she is a brilliant person, no question about it. That tells you why her dad did not consider giving up on her. Loosing a parent at an early age affect every child differently but Angeline has a powerful person in her life. Angeline's father is a real African father, firm and authoritative but he is also caring beyond what I known other fathers would do. His ability to forgive is Christlike, a wonderful example of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. He is a Hero, waiting to hear the cry of his babygirl and picking her up out of her dark hole. I really, really respect him and I can't wait to see him on the show.

Im challenged and pray that I will be able to live my kids like th father in this story. Some times we parents push our kids to die alone in the world thinking by disowning they will come back to their senses, instead, the world swallows them alive. Many parents should listen to this story.

Today's discussion is what every Kenyan (young and old) need so badly right now.People are keeping so much pain silently inside their hearts for fear of being judged.Angelina is giving therapy to so many guys for coming out to openly talk about her struggles. One thing to learn from this discussion is never ever judge what you don't know neither have being through. She is truly a strong and so brave to share her story to the whole world.I love how she has put her faith and trust in God. It's true be good to everyone, you never know who will come through for you when you badly need it.He is always faithful. Lynn and team👏🏼👏🏼😘😘

She just reminded of how I sunk into depression some years back. Sold everything I had I left with only my bed and a stove. Became a laughing stock to my whole clan but I thank God I came out of it though left harboring lots of bitterness.. The dad is a hero we need to celebrate him on this show..

I too harbored bitterness to those that kicked me when I was down. But guess what, I prayed about it and asked God to release me from the pain, anger and hatred I felt. That feeling only hurts you imagine. Release them and set yourself free in the process ❤🙏🏾

I have always enjoyed Lynn's show but THIS one is different. There are many profound things about it but top of the list is the father's love. Angeline's narration of her journey is like 10 sermons rolled into 1. If I ever struggled to understand God's love, this story has brought it home for me. Our earthly fathers are supposed to be a reflection of our heavenly father. When God says that His goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, Angeline's dad's love, goodness and mercy for his child has relentlessly pursued her and that love is what has brought her to a place of brokenness (good brokenness) to the point of desiring to do everything to please him. In Psalm 51:17, it says that "A broken and contrite heart, God will not despise". Every time Angeline cried to her dad, he always came to her rescue and that's the same way our Father in heaven operates. 2. The other powerful lesson for me is not allowing the shame and guilt of our wrongdoing or sin to keep us bound. They're devices straight from hell to keep someone in a dark hole and ultimately steal, kill and destroy human beings. King David, after the Bathsheba story wrote the following in Psalm 32:1-5 "Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin". Secrets literally have a physiological effect. You will go to hospital with sicknesses doctors cannot find. That's why David says before he confessed, his bones wasted away...he was physically sick besides being emotionally and mentally tortured. I love her boldness to come out because that has broken that hold. Wah...I could go on and on but this girl has ministered to me through her story. Indeed I pray for healing throughout all those relationships which were destroyed or strained during this journey 🙏 ❤.

Having keenly listened to this beautiful amazing Lady is that we fight spiritual battles that are unknown, one can pin point a finger to someone thinking whatever they are doing is intentional but if you have keenly listened to her is that Everytime she could realize what she into, she could quickly feel the pain inside herself isn't right, my prayers is that you and Dad can just have a one one forgiveness with much embracement because it's really traumatizing especially to the lady since the guilt inside her ain't over, it's a healing season a step at a time, 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪 keeping you in prayers

Pick up points: 1. Everyone of us has a story. 2. Not everything is in social media is what it seemingly shows it is. 3. Be genuine in your connections 4. Filter the people you relate with most of your time 5. After everything is said and done...when you know who your parents are, (genuine authentic love)... Respect And obey them 6. Take responsibility and accountability for your life.. 7. When you realize you have messed up, don't procrastinate, seek help...seek help. 8. When you find yourself, pick up yourself and like the show...gather strength to rebuild.. 9. God, God, the fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom...all wisdom.... Good job to this amazing lady, the strength to come talk about this shows she is an amazing soul and bold, I can only wish her the best.. The dad is amazing❤... My God, I wish we could hear him out ... Bottom line, we rebuild... Amazing authentic Convo 🙏
